At this moment in time Darien is fighting at Ascalon, this is the final battle of the main books and just before Darien tells Godfrey where he can shove his crown. Darien will reach Jaffa first, and things are far from over. It is still about a week or two before they board boats back to France.

It should be noted, West of this point is the Levant, the coast, and all of it down to Jaffa, and around Jerusalem to Bethlehem is ALL Darien's territory (Principality of Galilee)

I like that Allie is deeply insecure beneath all of his lies and bravado and swagger. He desperately wants Devon to like him, not at all realizing that Dev already does.
