  1. The next day started out as a fairly normal day for the average wolf. Wake up, say hello to the occasional wolf that passes by, and join the rest of people who live in the house you do for breakfast. This may have been regular routine for moat wolves, so it of course was completely abnormal and strange for me. When Alex came into my room and woke me up, I flipped out of bed and into a defensive position. After half a second, however, I was fully awake and I relaxed my body. Alex wouldn't harm m
  2. I knew that Alex was only trying to take my mind off of meeting the rest of the pack, but there was no need to work me to the bone. He told me that we were having a barbecue tonight, so there was a lot of work to be done. We had prepared two giant regular salads along with potato and pasta salad. I put together a big veggies-and-dip platter while Alex made fruit salad. After that, we poured many bags of ice into two large metal bins. Once they were full of ice, we stocked one with alcoholic dr
  3. I was hyperventilating. Alex and I were making our way outside to meet Alex's family and later the rest of the pack. I was already freaking out when Alex decided to tell me that his father was the Alpha. So now I was about to have a panic attack. "Why didn't you freaking tell me you were the future Alpha? Gosh!" I said between my quick pants of air. "Whoa, you need to calm down Adrian!" he said and pulled me to a stop. He sounded worried. Good! I thought. He should be freaking worried.
  4. After eating their sandwiches in silence, Alex quickly washed up the dishes (ignoring my efforts to stop him and clean up after myself) and took my hand to lead me around the house. Unfortunately, I didn't take in what he was saying at first since I was focused on ignoring the tingles running up and down my arm. I wanted to fight his touch, my memories wanted to fight his touch. People couldn't be trusted. A silent moment passes and I'm snapped out of my reverie by deep chuckling. My head shoot
  5. The pack house was completely empty. With such a large pack, this was an anomaly. There was always at least one person inside house, so it was understandable that the emptiness scared me. I was used to constantly being around others; not having someone there to tease me, or take care of me, or even just to ignore my randomness was scary. Especially to a seven-year-old. I padded down the desolate hallway on bare feet, the hardwood floors sending a chill through me. With all the lights off, the

    Found Out

I like this! You kept me thinking that he was fooling around with someone until the very end, which I think was a great way to do it Keep it up!

  13. Breakfast was slightly awkward. Brian was glaring at Jude and me, making me shrink back in my seat whenever our eyes connected. Jude was snarfing down his oatmeal and berries like they would disappear if he didn't get them in his mouth fast enough. Alex was avoiding my eyes, most likely feeling guilty for what happened last night. And Alpha was staring at all of us, his eyes switching between the four of us at regular intervals. The dining room was silent and filled with tension so strong you'

    Adjusting

Adrian has been yanked out of the rogue life violently. While trying to adjust to pack life, he has to deal with the strange new feelings he has towards the Alpha's son. But life isn't so simple. Evil and madness are afoot, and Adrian has to keep an eye out. Why? Because the very people who caused him to become a rogue are back.
  15. Running. It was nothing new to me. Others considered it a fun pastime, or maybe an evil forced upon them by their malevolent dictator, otherwise known as the gym teacher. However, to me, it was as much a part of my life as breathing. Running could calm me down from a horrible mood, or could help me to hunt for my food for the night. But at the moment, it was extending my life a little bit longer. Growls, snarls, and yelps were following me as I sprinted through the forest, dodging all the low-l
