Comicality

No particular reason involved. Just...I had the day off today, and I have the day off tomorrow...so I got to stretch out, relax, do some writing (Which all went smoothly), and just enjoy life for a while. It's one of those days that you find yourself being thankful for, and don't want to take for granted. Loved it! (Smiling) Just wanted to send some good vibes your way. Love you all! Seezya soon!

Despite the most valiant of attempts, this server problem is basically shutting us down again and again, and I don't expect anyone to put up with the frustration of trying to keep things running smoothly under the current circumstances. My DEEPEST apologies for the inconvenience, you guys! I'm not a techy guy, myself, but I will do some research and see if I can tackle this problem on my own. I'll take the added pressure on my shoulders, and do my best to keep things running smoothly from now and into the future. I'm not sure how I'm going to do that, but I'll start doing my research this weekend and learning how to keep up with the momentum that we've worked so hard to build over the past six months or so! And I might have to dig into my 'go home to Chicago' savings, but I truly believe in this project, and I'm passionate about getting it to work. This is a project that is bigger than I am. And, much like when I first started the Shack online, I am dedicated to doing whatever I can to make a difference any way that I can. I don't need money. I don't sleep. I don't need protection from online bullies. I just need to know that I did all I could to help out, and provide guidance for others when I had the chance. I didn't have a Shack Out Back when I was growing up. You guys do. I don't want to let you down in providing that for you. More info to come as I get things in order. The server problems that we had recently have actually been fixed! And this is solely due to TurtleBoy being AWESOME! He fixed it up MUCH faster than I ever could have expected! Really? Interesting. I think my writing process might be very different from you guys. See...I always spend a lot of time planning things out in my head. Then on paper. Then I have to sort of 'work myself up' to tackle the actual story. That's when I begin to worry and hesitate. What if it's not good enough? What if I get stuck? What if I start writing and it's not as good as I'm hoping it will be? All of those things go through my mind, and it causes me to wait until I feel I'm 'ready', you know? BUT...once I have everything plotted out in my head, and I actually start writing the chapter/story...it's merely a matter of completing the thought. "This is where I was, this is where I want to go...I just need to get from point A to point B." For ME, that's the easy part. Once Istart writing, everything else just sort of falls into place. As long as I keep my goal in sight, then the middle part is easy. But yeah, it takes me a while to start things off sometimes. As for the many stories that I've got going at once, they're already finished in my head. I just need to 'get from point A to point B'...and that takes more hours in the day than I've got to work with, unfortunately. But I never forget. Not ever. Like...imagine you haven't seen a family member in years. Or a high school buddy that you don't talk to until you're high school reunion. No matter how long it's been since you've spoken to one another, you don't completely 'forget' who they are, do you? There's a STORY in your head about this person. "Oh yeah, we used to hang out. And this person used to babysit me, and that person was on the baseball team with me, and me and this guy used to date." You might need to catch up on new developments, sure...but you guys are still attached, right? I mean, I am. One day, all of my stories will be completed, and I'll shake the stigma of being the guy to never read because he takes so long! Hehehe! But, all the stories started with a direct vision in mind. It would be a disappointment and a disservice if I didn't do it right. At this point, I've worked too hard to half ass the effort now. Loving the input!
