  1. The chatroom has been moved to a Discord server now. I think the link at the top of the Shack will take you there. I'll check the others and see if they need changing. The Shack Board is here - http://www.voy.com/15900/
  2. You guys know how much I love Halloween! Hehehe, so don't miss out on our Halloween issue of Imagine Magazine next week! Lot's of goodies will be waiting for you! Promise! And if any of you guys have stuff that you want to submit, we'll TRY to get you in, but if it's too late, we'll just have to get you in the next month instead. We're trying to keep from sending in stuff at the very last minute. I give poor Jeff enough stress on my own without the rest of you following suit. ::Giggles:: But look for the new issue on Tuesday night! Cool? Seezya soon! https://imagine-magazine.org
  3. Dude!!! That was, like...a religious experience! Oh man, I'm so in love! Ruel has really awesome instincts when he sings live. He makes these spontaneous choices with his vocals that just...they give you goosebumps, you know?
  4. Yeah, I think my angel wings were clipped pretty early in life. LOL! I was an extremely inquisitive youngster growing up. And I can remember going on scavenger hunts whenever I had the house to myself. Cupboards or closets or drawers that i had never looked in before...I would investigate. And...hehehe, that led me to some interesting places. Now, looking back on it, I'm a bit disturbed by my dad's porn collection! Hahaha! And this was back on betamax (Young kids say, 'beta-WHAT???'). But I found some videos that changed my life. And some playboy magazines too. I think I was about 7 or 8 years old, and i was immediately fascinated. And...believe it or not...(I can't believe I did this!!!) I made a MAGAZINE with naked women in it!!! It was just dirty pictures stapled to notebook paper! And I took it to school and showed it to other kids! Omigod, I'm blushing just SAYING that! LMAO!!! What's worse is, I actually got caught, and the teacher had to talk to my parents about it. Yeah....I caught a nasty beating over that one! But I did it, and that was my introduction to porn. I don't even think I recognized it as porn at the time. It was just...exciting, you know? At least to me, it was. I've definitely had my shoplifting moments too. G.I. Joe figures! i was obsessed with them for some reason. And Garbage Pail Kids! (Google it, youngsters!) And then there was the whole 'explicit content' labels they started putting on music at the time. Fuck you! I want to buy the NWA album with "Fuck The Police" on it! Hahaha, if you won't sell me the cassette...oh, lookee here, it fits right into my backpack! Am I proud of some of the stuff that I've done...ummm, yeah. I don't suggest it, or want to influence anybody to do the same...but my darker side is a part of who I am. So be it. But DON'T follow my example, kids! It's bad stuff! LOL! Seriously, k? At the end of the day, I had a good run for about 7 years as my mommy's little angel. After that, it was a downhill slide into the degenerate monster that I am now! And to think...I didn't even have the internet back then! Giggles!
  5. It's just awesome to have gay artists tell their truth in a song. It's so refreshing, you know?
  6. Hehehe, I don't know, dude! I met Elijah Wood once in person, and his eyes really ARE that blue. I can't say that I've ever seen anything like them before. They're kind of intimidating.
  7. Ah well...sucks to be you guys, then! LOL! You should quit being so damn fancy and let simple text on a screen be your foundation. It's only worked for me for like...21 YEARS! Just saying! But I' sure there's some new app that'll give 150 new abilities that you'll never use, so...try using that. Hehehe!
  8. Really??? Because GA has been pretty on point with everything fr the past year or so. I'd say that it's easier to use than ever, in my opinion. I can definitely say that Myr and Cia and a bunch of others work their butts off making this place run smoothly, but I'm not very tech savvy, so I'm not sure how a bunch of 'extra' stuff is supposed to work. Or mobile devices and all that. I like my tech to be like Beatles songs....simplistic, to the point, and easy to learn. Hehehe! But I haven't had any problems in a while.
  9. I wanted to let you know that something weird is going on with my email at the moment, and it has been over a week now since I've been able to access it. But I'm still here! If you guys sent me an email in the past week and a half, and I haven't answered you yet, I'm not ignoring you. I just can't get in right now. Also, I reached out to a couple of you recently, but I don't have access to my email addresses either, and I might have tried an alternate email addy to get in touch. So check your spam folders, etc, in case your account doesn't recognize an alternate email addy from me. K? Anyway, everything is going great! New stories are coming this week! A new Imagine Magazine issue is almost ready for Halloween! Love you lots! And I'll talk to you soon! Just dealing with minor difficulties at the moment!
  10. Totally understandable! And I was pretty much the same way. But I'll get into that when I post my answer this weekend. THANKS for the insight! Loved it!
  11. A little something to make you smile.

  12. Now, I definitely LOVE Stephen King and all of the stories that he puts out there! And, even more, I love when all of his fictional characters kinda crossover and meet up in the same space! Coolest thing ever! But...I will admit that I was not a big fan of season one of 'Castle Rock'. I tried it out, but it got a little weird for my tastes. HOWEVER.... Season two? Whoah! Is that an older, post-Shawshank, Andy Dufrane??? And a younger version of Annie from 'Misery'??? AND he's weaving in the vampire cult from 'Salem's Lot'??? NOW I've GOT to see this!!!! I can't pass it up! It's too much! LOL!Those are some of Stephen King's greatest characters ever! DANGIT!!! He got me again!
  13. Dude...this deserves to be written out as a story! Sneaking out for sleepovers with a friend? Instant classic! Thanks for the comment! ((Hugz))
  14. Hehehe, you know...it may still be the greatest con of all time! In fact, it's timeless...moving from generation to generation, catching parents by surprise each and every time. "What??? You mean my little boy/girl isn't an innocent little angel anymore?" ::Snickers:: No, Mom...not for a WHILE now! LOL! While I can completely understand all parents and guardians and even older siblings wanting to view the youth as delicate and pure and keep them safe from the...let's say the 'complications' of the world at large...we can all agree that this isn't really possible, right? I mean...by the time I was ten years old, I had a LOT to hide from my parents! Hahaha! How effective I was at doing so is a mystery to me, and probably always will be. But to say that I was an 'angel' when I was a kid would be a laughable lie! So, the question this time around is...when did the innocent little angel in you take flight, and when did the devil start whispering in your ear? Giggles! And I'm not just talking about hormones and sex here. We're talking deception, shoplifting, fist fights, gossip, secrets, masturbation...it's human nature. It slips in eventually, and often much sooner than you think. How old were you when you adopted dishonest or secretive behaviors? And how did you hide it? Did your parents find out about it? Looking back...do you think they knew? Or were they oblivious to the actions of a Christmas angel with dirty wings? Let us know! As always, anonymous replies are welcome, either in the reply below or at my email at Comicality@webtv.net for submission in the December issue of Imagine Magazine! Take care, and I'll seezya soon!
  15. Forks in my life... There have been many. SO many. I, sometimes, sit back and reflect on all of the things that I've done, the hard times that I've been through, and the amazing people that I've met throughout my life...and it baffles me to think that my life could have gone any other way than the way it has. It's crazy, right? Hehehe! If there's another reality somewhere, and there was another 'me' that had missed a single step along the way, he would be a complete STRANGER to me! Seriously. So...forks in my life... Definitely, the Shack is the first one that comes to mind. Creating this site, writing these stories, and being able to interact with everybody over the years has been such a defining part of who I am. I wish I had the words to say thank you in a way that truly conveys how much I appreciate the people who have been there for me from the beginning, and have stuck by me through the good times and the bad. It was the friends I made online that allowed me to finally accept myself, feel comfortable in my own skin, and reach out to make a difference and be that same influence in other people's lives who really needed it. I hope I was able to be a positive 'fork' in someone else's reality too. Hehehe! Another one is meeting my best friend, Mike. We were both 14 years old at the time, and met in Summer school, actually. The strange thing is...as CUTE as he was...that wasn't my initial reason for hanging out with him. It was a random meeting, in a random art class, and we just happened to click immediately on the first day. It's almost scary to think that a tiny little clerical error like putting him in a different class at a different time that Summer could have deprived me of having one of the best friends that I ever could have dreamed of. He's still the first person that I ever came out to. And that was AFTER the Shack had been online for a year or two! I wouldn't have had the guts, otherwise. I can remember being sooooo in love with him for so long. LOL! Looking back at it now, I was so helpless! And at one point, we moved into a tiny apartment together, and he's straight...but we've always been extremely close...so that sexual frustration is pretty much what led me to writing the stories you guys know and love today. So, thanks to Mike for that! There are many other forks that I could go into detail about, like finding the beauty of comic books as a kid, working in a music store (Still the best and most fun job that I've EVER had in my life!), and some of the great loves of my life that transformed me in more ways than I can ever count or hope to explain... But...if I had to be honest, the one other element in my life that I have to give credit for making me who I am...is my father. And it's not often that you'll ever hear me giving him 'credit' for much of anything, but despite the negative influence that he had on my life, it's only appropriate. Because his abuse taught me how to have a heart and sympathy for other people. He taught me how to heal. He taught me how to fight. And he gave me all the evidence that I'd ever need to know, for certain, that I can get past the suffering and the self doubt and the hurt...to come out ok on the other end. So I couldn't answer this question honestly without making him a part of it, because he really is a part of me. Maybe a part that I regret having to deal with growing up, but if it made me who I am today...someone who can look in the mirror and be proud of the person staring back at him...someone who actually has the urge to help others and do good things...then I thank him for that. And I'd do it all again as long as it promised me the same outcome. Anyway, that's my answer for this question. I know it was a bit of a complicated issue for some, but I hope it inspired some thought for you guys. And if you want to add anymore answers of your own and tell your story, please feel free! K? Seezya soon!
  16. Now, many of you know, this was always one of my favorite music mash ups of all time, hehehe! But these boys from Thailand went all out, in full drag, and NAILED this performance! Wow! Round of applause! That's incredible! https://imagine-magazine.org/releases/volume-39/music-mash-up-august-2018/ And, yes...they are all boys! Just...fabulous! ALSO....yes, they altered the lyrics a little bit. LOL! Because the song is...well...it's basically about prostitution! BUT, the French lyrics have been changed from 'do you want to sleep with me' to 'Do you want to SING with me'...which is a bit more appropriate!

    Chapter 50

While it's not really necessary to read for the rest of the story, the shorts "GFD: Circle Nocturnus", and "GFD: Executive Order", might shine a little bit of light on what's going on behind the scenes. And why Justin is still being confused with 'Rage' in most cases. But all of you guys have got a lot of this right. Hehehe, but there are still surprises to come So my lips are sealed until then!
  18. Sorry for taking a while on this one. Been helping the family plan a funeral. Lots of bickering and pointless bs. I swear...I don't understand people anymore. Anyway, all that aside, a new chapter of "Gone From Daylight" is up for you guys to dive into right now! Please take a moment to let me know what you think! And look for more soon! Cool? Hehehe! https://gayauthors.org/story/comicality/gfd12bloodties/
  19. "Gone From Daylight: Blood Ties 50" A wasteland... That's all I could see before me as the dream began. I know that Taryn always told me that vampire dreams were much more vivid, much more engaging, than human dreams...simply because my brain was taking in so much more information during my waking hours... ...But I was quickly learning to differentiate between my waking life and the super subconscious visions my mind was feeding me while I was lost in the world of my daily
  20. Hahahahaha!!! I needed the laughs right now! I really did. LOL! That feels good!
  21. I am dealing with a few details with the passing of a very close family member this weekend, but as soon as I come back from work I'll have more to post tonight and (hopefully) tomorrow night for the site. I just need a little bit of time to grieve. But, in the meanwhile, this month's Daydream Short story, "Give It To Me Straight", has just been posted. It's part one of a two part story, and I hope you guys like it. Let me know what you think when you get a chance, ok? Take care, and I'll seezya soon. https://gayauthors.org/story/comicality/give-it-to-me-straight/
  22. "Give It To Me Straight" "I still can't believe how friggin' FINE that boy is!" Silas said to me, taking a few sips from his red plastic cup. Some sort of tropical fruit punch concoction that was spiked with something 'miscellaneous' to make this high school sophomore party a little bit more festive. "You've got to stop gawking at him like that, Silas. C'mon, man...you're gonna come off like some kind of creep." I said. "I'll be that. Totally worth it." He smiled. "Seriously, Jamie.
  23. Even though Jamie and his best friend, Silas, are pretty much known for mentally drooling over every cute boy they come across...adolescent hormones and all...it was 'Ricky' that always manages to shoot to the top of the list whenever they're in the same room with him. Even though Ricky is interested in girls, Jamie is beginning to wonder just how 'straight' he is. Ricky has just moved into a house across the street from him this past Summer. Just how 'curious' might Ricky be...if given the chance to ask?
