It's a new life for you.” That was in 1962! the very beginning of Stefan's American Life. You wrote this really good! Now I figured out JP's age, he is 26 in this chapter.

As for Marc, it's common for a victim to become a different person - after they become more confident- after the treatment process either to be a horrible or a better person. I sincerely hope Marc will become a better person two times more. During the period of being victimized, they oppress their personalities and adopt abuser's decisions and expectation. If Marc blossoms into one of the CAD family, he will be at right place. In that Family and OUR HEARTS. Otherwise, I will send the Ravens to pluck his eyes out and let vultures eat his insides out! Mark, I am glad that Brad thinks of his sons before a lover. I know how hard it is if someone loves other so much but finds other doesnt get along with kids. I still don't trust Marc Carmaine. I think Will and I are alike regarding having the suspicions about Marc. Mark, I do remember the thought I had back in 2003, "wow! The United States of America throppled Iraqi's Dictator within 21 days! That showed the world how powerful we are!" And, now, I looked back to those conflicts... would this so-called Islamic State never happened if we didn't do the Imperialism? Some people said that Iraq is better off having Saddam Hussein because he was the lesser evil than otherwise. Anyway, I can understand why JP is upset about this war after lived through Vietnam War. Now, as Jason (StoriReder) mentioned guys among Matt and Wade's teammates may have gone to Iraq, and even those young main characters may have been deployed! This bumpy road will lead to a stronger bond in Alex and JJ's relationship. I can understand how upset JJ is. As you said that JJ still wants Alex, he will forgive him in some way, however, with his family, that's a different story. He doesn't depend on his family to motivate his skating competitions. He had said, "I don't give a flying fuck about my family.". And now, Mark, my question is... does first love last forever? Pretty rare in realistic world. thank you for a great story about Alex! I hope JJ is a Princess AND a whore combined to Alex. and I noticed Alex was started to act as a pig with JJ while at the beginning he treat JJ as princess. So, is JJ Alex's match?

Mark, I never get bored with your CAP stories. thank you for the new book of CAP! Now I can smell 'troubles' arise from Alex/JJ connection. And, I identified symptoms of Borderline Disorder in JJ: sexual abuse, physical abuse, neglected while growing up, blames the problems on others, doesn't take responsible for his own actions, and thinking negativity. Hopefully, something or someone (Alex??) early-intervenes him out of that.
