I'd be happy to offer and advice that I can. However, please bear in mind that aside from one short story, LTMP is my first try in 3rd person. Hence, I might not know what I'm talking about half the time.

High up on a mountain? But, but, wouldn't that imply a cliff? Now when have you ever known me to use a cliff in a story? Well, OK, in "No Shirt? No Problem!" Jason fell off a cliff. And there were some cliffs in FTL, such as the one Chris and Steve climbed to get to their campsite. And the title graphic for "Three for Jake" has the title between two sea cliffs. And there was the rock climbing in LTMP... But other than that, I never use cliffs, they are too close to cliffhangers, which of course I never use. Hrmmm, so, blow out the tires on one side... Hrmmm, yeah, okay, so, if I take that idea and use it, then we can say it's a Shadowgod Cliffhanger, right? And use it against you? I'd never do such a thing! I started them both years ago, but what you see today is not what I wrote then. I had to go through and re-edit. LTMP had about the first right chapters, and FTL maybe ten, I think. Actually, I started on FTL first, but then switched to LTMP, but they were anly a few months apart, I think. Both stories changed a great deal when I re-started them, including plot changes.

Yep. I do like the name, and picking names for a story is hard for me. I have to use names that begin with different letters, and also sound different phonetically. I also wrote the first few chapters of LTMP before I wrote FTL, and I did think of changing Eric's name, but nothing I tried "fit" him, or I'd grown used to thinking of him as Eric. So, I left his name as-is.

Yep, there was a time jump, of several weeks, and you got it exactly right; I needed to move the timeframe along, because otherwise you would have ended up with lots of chapters which were concert, touring some sites, and that's about it. So, a time jump. That part I can comment on. Yep, it is indeed quite common, unfortunately. Okay, there is a very great deal I can't comment on, and yes, this chapter was loaded with clues:) I can say, however, that the next chapter is entitled "Revelations". Okay, as usual,, i have questions! LoL. How did the Scar's method of getting the Krytons come across? I kept it brief as I din't want excessive sub-plots, but per the text, he hired a killer who kidnapped a daughter of an industrialist, and has the killer send her back to her father piece by piece as a method of persuasion. I felt it read better as a concise entry, so I wrote it that way. We have already seen both Dimitri and The Scar kill in person, so I figured I didn't need to show anything up close with the victims. BTW, Am I making it clear enough what Kryton switches are? They are an essential component of a nuclear weapon, and control timing to the 39 detonators to the millisecond. They are real components, BTW.

Well, yes, I do admit that I had assumed that LTMP 19 would be posted after Jan 1st. And I did think that a few people, might, possibly, think that it was a cliffhanger due to the perhaps slightly tense ending. Now, I will point out that you WERE voted King of Eeevil Cliffhangers in an open forum, your own forum in fact, where other authors (Graeme, and myself) were considered. So, if you prefer to discount the committee's findings, well, we always have that vote to fall back on, and as it is exactly what you say above that you wanted, you should now happily and gracefully accept your title. Now, now, Your Majesty, I have in the past answered said questions, and I shall do so again; #1: I have NEVER claimed that you over-use cliffhangers in any way. Over-use is, after all, a very different thing from mastery, and though I have oft claimed the latter, I have never claimed the former. I'll also mention that saying someone is the king of something is saying they are the best at it, not that they over-use it. #2: But LiS 26 was indeed the Mother of All Cliffhangers! I can cite at least TWO GA admins who proclaimed it's cliffhangery dominance, and of course many other readers too. Or have you forgotten the threats to your berries? #3: This was a loaded question; you use "worse". Shadowgod, no one is trying to say that your cliffhangers are bad, we are just trying to acknowledge your absolute mastery of the eeeevil cliffhanger! (and I'll mention LiS 26, again! ) #4... I agreed to that? Umm, when? I do recall saying that, if there was a vote, your title would surely be re-affirmed. And on your final point, you imply a shady backroom deal!?!?!? Nothing of the sort occurred!
