  1. Liv had her own private torture room in Purgatory. She hadn’t decorated much yet. It was pretty bland, except for two paintings she’d hung on the dark stone walls. One of New Orleans, and one of bright red high heel shoes. “I simply adore New Orleans,” she had said to him once, pacing back and forth in her torture room. “I was the Reaper of New Orleans in the 1920’s. Best time of my life.” She hadn’t explained about the shoes painting. Maybe she just liked red shoes.
  2. You're very welcome! Thanks for reading! Should explain itself as the story unfolds ;-)

    A Father's Tears

Thank you! But yeah, I was wondering if it was possible to read this one without having read the first one. I'm not sure though, it might be a bit too difficult to understand. If you want to take the time and read the first one I consider that very flattering : )
  4. Malachy kept looking at the text. ‘Coffee, 2 pm still works for you?’ And he had replied yes, of course. The text was from Gabriel. Malachy was seated at the coffee shop where they were supposed to meet, and Gabriel wasn’t here yet. He checked his phone. 2:14. Last night he had made Sasha wait at the restaurant. Today Gabriel was making him wait. At first, after hanging out in the 21st century for a bit, Malachy had wondered why people were so addicted to looking at their phones all
  5. Really new tastes, lol, well said. I know... Well, I figure, Sasha's seventeen, he's not as confident as he should be, so he's not clued in yet, he just thinks he got excited about the relationship all on his own and got dumped--I feel sorry for him too! Tx for the support. Sorry about the torture, but I guess as long as I keep it exquisite, it's okay? Lol
  6. It does match Sasha's mood I think, spot on. Thanks for the support, I hope you'll enjoy the story : )
  7. The restaurant was Sasha Reed’s favorite. It was Japanese, and ramen was their specialty. They even made their own noodles. He sat in a corner at a small table, clutching his phone. Nick was late. Thirty minutes late now. There were no windows in the restaurant. The walls were painted a deep plum shade. The tables and chairs were cherry red. There was a painting of cherry blossoms above the table where Sasha sat. A Japanese game show was playing on the wide screen TV on the opposite
  8. After a battle in the hellish realm, Nick's body is possessed by the most impish of demons. Trapped in the after world, Nick must find a way to get his life back.
  9. *insert evil laughter here* But yeah, glad I was able to surprise you, and I hope I can keep surprising you. Though you are quite good at the guessing game, I'll give you that lol.
  10. Lol okay, I guess I deserve that. I can live with that if you give the sequel a shot ; )
  11. You're so very welcome, thank you for reading and for taking the time to review. I'm so glad you enjoyed it : )
  12. Sasha smiled when Nick opened his eyes. “Hey, you,” Sasha said. “What happened?” Nick asked in a groggy voice. He still looked very weak. But at least he was alive. He was home. In his bed. Safe. Sasha handed him a glass of water and Nick took it before sitting up in the bed. He winced. Nick was mostly healed up, though, even if his body was clearly still sore. It was a miracle. Sasha had no idea how he’d done this. It was all so blurry now. It all seemed like a bad dream. The early sunligh
  13. All the people Liv had so meticulously brainwashed lost their will to fight at once. Without her, they were just terribly confused. The five werewolves backed away slowly, carefully. They looked mostly unharmed. Nick let out a breath. Louis—their self-proclaimed referee—came closer, shouting about one thing or another being against the rules. Nick caught a glimpse of Zelda across the battlefield; she was safe. She was among the ones that had been trapped in Shay’s circle of fire. The flames we

They met again in the other dimension. The first thing he noticed was an unusually thick blackish fog shrouding their makeshift battlefield. Even for this place, it was extreme. Nick could see, with a tightening of his chest, that there were many people in the other group—definitely fifty, maybe more—but he couldn’t make out their faces clearly. Despite the fog, he could discern the outline of the shimmering white river in the distance. In Hell, the light never came from the sky. It was backw
  17. Waiting was excruciating. Like an itch he couldn’t scratch. A shaking of his legs he couldn’t stop. Thirst he couldn’t quench. The stupid sunlight slipped through his curtains like it was mocking him. Nightfall still seemed so far away. Riley and Shane wanted to talk to him. But he was shutting them out, leaving them with Cyan. Nick just couldn’t be around anyone right now. His head felt like it was going to burst. His eyes were dry. But he didn’t want to sleep. He knew what he would dream abo
  18. Nick woke up and immediately felt for Sasha. He’d had a bad dream but couldn’t remember what it was. Right now he just had a bad feeling. His hand found Sasha’s arm but something was wrong. He whipped around in the bed and saw that Sasha’s eyes were open. And his body was growing cold. His chest was immobile; no rise and fall movement. His body was growing cold. No. No, no, no. Shock paralyzed him, twisted his insides. This couldn’t be happening. Then anger. Anger rose within him and sprea
  19. Sasha sighed as he leaned back in his seat, frustration making him uneasy and on edge. The candle was lit but he wasn’t satisfied. Oh, he had lit it using fire magic, which he was pretty sure most people would find impressive. But every time he managed to do so he felt like something was off. He was tired and he shouldn’t be. Somehow he knew he shouldn’t be so drained. He grabbed his coffee mug—that was perhaps his sixth coffee today—and took a few sips of the beverage. It was cold now but he ba
  20. I know, right? Finally at last! I like it, lol. Thanks :-)
  21. Thanks for the feedback I take good note of it. The final chapters coming up should both include what you'd like to see and answer your questions.
  22. Sasha liked Nick’s bedroom. He found it endearing and quirky that Nick had so many plants. Five of them actually. Sasha really liked the one that rested on top of the dresser. The leaves were big and dark green and there was a really pretty white flower blooming in the middle. Cyan had already left, clearly deciding it was better to leave them alone. Sasha had been on his own to explain everything to Nick—and he had, even though he was tired. Nick looked angry. “How can you be so calm right
  23. Right. So it was the middle of the night, and Nick had been getting these really useless telepathic messages from Sasha, and it was driving him insane. “How am I supposed to help him?” He paced back and forth in his bedroom, the old wooden floor creaking underfoot, while Cyan sat calmly atop the desk, legs dangling, leafing through one of Nick’s books about screenwriting. “Your characters need to have a backstory. Your characters have a past and a future,” Cyan read. Then looked up. “How much
  24. Sasha was in the middle of a dream in which Nick Russell was dead, had become a Dark Angel, and was dating Cyan, when someone tapped his shoulder to wake him up. He looked up and saw a blonde head with pale gray eyes staring down at him. “Hazel? Oh shit, Hazel. I’m so sorry.” Sasha blinked, wincing at the discomfort in his shoulders and clearing his throat. Hazel was lifting her phone in the air. “I was looking everywhere for you. You weren’t a
