I was so excited to see this that I had to actually log in. I haven't even started reading it yet because I now need to go back and reread Wolf Like Me and Wild Card 1-7 (for the umpteenth time) because I really want to be completely back in that world for this new chapter. You are freaking killing me. I keep telling myself that by making Kye suffer (and suffer, and suffer) you are ensuring that the payoff will be all the sweeter. If Kye has been shot in the back that is one way to guarantee that Ash and Reth (and Sam and Liam) will see the scars. Are we going to see much of Row? I figured he was the reason Liam was so vicious towards Kye,

I knew Tareth did not just forget about his beloved little brother. Their father surely told him that Kye ran away when he tried to contact him. So can Daddy Dearest please suffer? You're so good at vengeance. I know that Barrett is the big villain here and I'm going to really enjoy reading about his comeuppance, but Daddy needs to pay for his sins, too. It's not going to be pretty when Reth and Ash see Kye's back. I'd like Samuel so see what their former lord did to his "amorato" as well. I'm wondering if there is more to Rowland and Liam's relationship than just loyalty and that is why Liam is so hellbent on punishing Kye. Of course, if Liam is Lee, that changes everything, every motive.

Hmmm . . . Krissy went very pale upon seeing Derek alive, and then conveniently went to the loo after all the plans had been made. She could well be a liability rather than an asset. Time will tell, eh?

I was actually getting worried about you but finally thought to check here. Glad to see that it's only that real life is getting in the way. We can, and definitely will, wait.

Excellent. I was worried that Mama might hurt Eddie so I'm relieved that he's okay. Eddie may be mentally challenged but he's not stupid, he knew what needed to be done and he did it. And Mama really did need to die. Those three men need to recover in peace, they don't need that reminder hanging around in jail or an institution. Slipping on a box of macaroni and cheese to die in the basement where she tortured others was a perfect way for her to go. I actually think the boys will all be able to trust each other even more now. Wyatt knows that Eddie wasn't the one who did this and that Bryan was looking for him the entire time. Bryan knows that Eddie wasn't the one who did this and that Wyatt didn't leave him voluntarily. Eddie knows that Mama hurt Bryan and Wyatt, and all he wants is for Bryan to be happy. Now Bryan can be, thanks to Eddie. Bryan will have to deal with some major guilt: not only did he inadventantly kill his mother, but even more, he never realized how his mother had treated Eddie. Personally, I think his concern for Eddie will outweigh any lingering guilt over Mama.

Oh, thank the gods. This suspense has been killing me. Poor, sweet Eddie. Poor Bryan. But they will both survive it intact, as long as Wyatt does as well. I don't think it will be enough for Mommy dearest to be arrested. Her punishment needs to be more extreme, if you know what I mean.
