Mom and Dad, Marcus and I loaded into his Lexus and headed for the first tasting. According to Marcus, we could expect a southwestern flare from the caterer. I wasn't really sure this was even close to the direction I wanted to go, but I was trying to keep an open mind. We arrived at what was definitely a BBQ place. We spent a little time looking at the sculptures and the paintings until the museum closed. A quick trip to Rockefeller Center and the Christmas tree was next. The tree was beautiful. Pictures on television didn't do the whole scene justice. I was a little bummed I couldn't try ice skating. Marcus gave me a look when I suggested it, but since my coordination was completely messed up and my arm wasn't healed, I obviously wasn't serious. Marcus headed for the office at about ten. He made me promise I would spend the day relaxing. Both Christmas Eve and Christmas day, I had an intense headache each night. Last night, we were on the couch listening to music when the pain hit. It had been a long day, so the headache didn't surprise. Fortunately, the medicine worked quickly and the discomfort passed. Thanks for reading my little effort. It's the first time I have attempted writing any kind of story, let alone publish it!Well, the friends will all be told in person now that the engagement has happened. Especially since they want to include them in the wedding. Jon and James will be there for New Years and they will see Danni and Hunter in the City. Marjorie was in the spirit of Christmas on the phone, I'm not sure if she will be as easy to talk to in person. But we already know Tony can hold his own. Thank you again for your kind words and I hope you continue to enjoy the story.
