I was slightly down on Saturday morning. The visit from Detective Matthews prompted a small panic attack the night before. The fact my attacker, Derek Kingston, was dead affected me far more than I thought it should. Fortunately, Dr. Abbott, the therapist I saw after my attack, had time to see me Saturday. The school year started Wednesday, so Tuesday was a day for me to finalize my schedule in the various buildings. I had mapped out a rotation. I was really concerned about my time in the high school. The week that followed my getting the teaching job was a complete blur. Somehow Marcus and I managed to get tested and found out we were both clean. I wasn't really concerned, except for my time with Jared. He had cheated on me, so there was that stress. We also managed to find a desk for the office. Unbelievably it was the cause of our first real fight. Funny, how little things can blow up given just a little fuel. I can laugh about the stupidity of it now, but at the time it was the longest

Marcus and I were in the shower. I was still deep in thought at the revelations from his story about Jared. It's probably 20 years since I was in Hampton Beach, lol Like Tony's parents, my grandparents thought it was too commercial. You will find out about Marcus's knowledge of photography in a few chapters... let's just say we learn a lot about Marcus in that chapter. I think both Daniel and TJ got what was coming to them! Thanks for the awesome feed back.
