  1. I might try my hand at something. I haven't had a reason to open Photoshop in a while
  2. It might not be your place to say anything, but if you think Josh might be making a huge mistake maybe you should? If he is gay or at least bi, marrying a female and one that is homophobe can't be good for him and can lead to all sorts of problems for him. And her. Vic's advice sounds good.
  3. Great chapter. I love the detail in the make-out scenes. And Milo actually deciding to take the initiative at the end there when he walked back into the room. I'm still trying to figure out what direction this story is going in. Is it a coming out story? a romance? coming of age? or something else? I have no idea which is what makes With Trust so interesting. So much for the Milo's mother having died of childbirth theory of last chapter. But now we know where Milo got his artistic talents from.
  4. That last scene... killed me. It's a nice change having the story told from the point of view from the one making all the moves. Milo and the birth video. There's more too his reaction than just not being able watching someone give birth. I think it might have to do with his mother? Died in childbirth maybe? We know his Dad is marrying someone new but we haven't (if my memory serves me correctly) heard about Milo's mother. So yes. heh. Joe is so... grr. He is so self-centred and immature. What he did wasn't just an accident as he said. He was trying to be a deliquent when he aimed the car for Milo and Jame to scare them and I think he did intent to destory the crates. His total dismissal of any wrong-doing on his part disgusts me. I think he needs a wake-up call personally.
  5. I was hoping there'd be a new chapter up when I got home today from a weekend away. I really like this story. It's interesting. I can't wait for the next chapter, you've really got me excited for the talent show! I want to see the school reaction to what is set to be another of Connor's amazing talented performances. I'm also, of course, eager to see how Ryan wil react - hopefully into at least talking terms with Connor, maybe even more? although a slow more. Heh.
  6. I do not like Davey's mother. I think it's very selfish of her to spend Davey's money like to so freely and let it slip to Davey's father so quickly that there's something he doesn't know about Davey and money and she did it all seemingly without a second thought. Davey may be her son but it doesn't mean she has the right to spend as much money as she did of his. She certainly doesn't know how much money he has or is making yet she's treating it like it's an endless supply. She could have spent all of his winnings and left him without a cent for important things - like College. Davey is a very giving person and she obviously knows that. Davey seems at time to be too giving a person. The last two Do Overs he gave and he gave to his family and yeah he got his father's love, but how *real* was that? We know David can be a very cruel person to anyone that doesn't fit his beliefs - and Davey being gay certainly doesn't. Was Davey just away to get money and power and recognition? We know Davey's mom didn't think twice about throwing him away last Do Over, all she cared about then was that Davey got them nice furniture and clothes and things and then she threw him out and her relationship with him away when she learned something she didn't like. Sure her family was killed - and callously because Davey was a time traveller - but she had thrown him out before that happened. Will she do it again? She's certainly starting off in that direction, and quicker than the last time; at least, in the way of using Davey and his money to get herself better stuff. Davey keeps trying to do the admiral thing and salvage/build a strong family for himself, but some things just can't be forced. He's trying to manipulate everyone into doing something that has proven to him on three separate occasions that it just might not be possible. And maybe he accepts that, but he seems to just be throwing this money around so willingly and letting himself being taken advantage of by those people who should never even conceive the thought of doing so. Davey's Papa for all he's glad about Davey's "tips", seems to be being a better father for Davey than his real one and more caring too. And his Nanny, set in her ways she is, has proven she genuinely cares and will keep on caring for her family even after the do something that goes against her beliefs. She won't let it whatever it is she disapproves of be/happen around her but she wont cut the family member off - or for too long. They both seem like better parents than Davey's who both have proven on different occasions and different timelines that their love isn't unconditional. And wow, that is long-winded. Oops.
  7. Happy (Belated) Birthday, Tim! Hope your day was a good one
  8. That was... an experience. My emotions were all over the place in that chapter. I'm glad Aaron came clean on the stolen car. I'm glad Luke is finally moving on from his past with Aaron. I'm happy that Rory and Eddie are developing a great father/son relationship. But I'm dissapointed that this is the end. I was really growing attached to the characters and now it's finished. Oh well, I loved this story and I thank Dom for writing it.
  9. I agree that Nelson needs to come out to his friends. But I don't think all of them will be that welcoming. I really see Joe having a problem with it. And Haily will be crushed and because of her feelings not that recepting. Caleb I actually think might be okay with it for the most part.
  10. Caleb is either really stupid or really scared. He obviously likes Ronnie and to ask another girl out in front of her was a /really/ stupid thing to do. Also, I'm finding myself liking Joe less and less which is hard because I was never fond of him. Even with his brief appearances in this chapter he still managed to get on my nerves. I'm glad that Nelson didn't mention that portait to Milo. If he had I think Milo would have freaked out more and they wouldn't be making the small bit of progress they are at the moment. And there's something endearing about Milo's "your shoe is untied" line, not as good as Nelson's from WT4. But still cute, if not a little frustrating.
  11. Cliffhangers... sigh.
