Friday afternoon came and I took off early, dragging home some work, to pick up Dylan from school. I had been planning this surprise for the past few days and I was glad everything had panned out as far as it could from my end. When he got out of school I was there leaning against the car. “Ready, Dylan?” He nodded and looked in the small back seat where there were some suitcases. “Where are we going?” “On a small vacation,” I said as we drove off to go pick up Pat from work and transfer all o

I kept learning. I learned about the difference between a soliloquy and a monologue, directions on stage or looking at the stage. How to project your voice without yelling so even those in the back can hear you just fine. How to stand, how to sit, how to gesture...how not to gesture. It was all new to me because every moment I had to be aware of how the audience would see me. Could they see my face? Were they meant to at that moment?. Was I turned out too far or too little? Sarah was a big help

The door to the tower slammed open and Raven flinched. He had been copying down a scroll and the painstaking process had been ruined. What had once been a copy of a very potent song of magic now had a trail of ink across it. There was only one person stupid enough to barge into his room without at least knocking once. “I trust you have a good reason for storming into my room, Frederick?” “I need you to teach me how to kill that bard!” he yelled. Not a smart move because there might be someone p

All I can say is I want a Little Joe. Someone who loves unconditionally and even after years apart never once lost any of that love. So pretty much a dog. I want a dog named Little Joe.

I'm writing the sequel. I don't know when it will be finished, but I'll start posting it once it's done

Dawn will ever be the time of new beginnings, but also the time of old things to end. I knew that soon we would meet face to face with the black, but as I stood looking at the rising sun I wondered why I felt so calm. Around me stood my companions and loved ones and I could scarcely know their minds for the blank expressions on their faces, but I could feel what they felt. For the Orren, he felt grim. He knew that this day many would die from our group, himself included, but he still went with

You know how much of a fan I am of your work. I am glad you said I couldn't use Jed in my own story because this is way hotter than I would have written. So dang hot.

I woke wondering what to do with Dylan when I went to work when said answer came knocking at my door. I grumbled, which woke the other two with a start. “Someone is at the door.” Dylan nodded and rolled over to go back to sleep. Slipping into my room I pulled on some shorts and went down stairs to the front door. I opened it to a surprise. “Mr. Andrews?” “Sorry about the early time, Jonathan, but I figured you may need someone to watch the young man until after you get home from work.” He stood

“Don't let them in!” cried the guard as the gates. He knew it to be a futile thing as once these three showed up there was no chance. The sirens were already blaring to mobilize the troops and even the few mobile suits were already in motion. Would it be enough? He asked himself as he ran from the tower to the bunker where he would not be a hindrance the actual soldiers. There was no thought in his head that he would survive, even with his high powered assault rifle. “Have the psions found them

Walking into town was an ordeal for the both of us. Calls of murderer and scarred freak were hurled Jinn's way but I felt them keenly. When the first rock flew and hit Jinn I blew up. "Enough! The next person who throws something will be called to the field to face me. How dare you treat him like this. He's the one who held off the landing party at the beach by my house long enough for me to warn the Miller they were there. I found him there among them, burned and broken. Is this how you treat a

Finals week came all too slowly for me and I saw Hector every day. Sarah, Matt and Jason all tried to get the two of us alone so we would talk it out, but I just ignored him which was exactly the way it was at graduation time. I did not miss a single look in his eyes that said he wanted to talk, but he still could not trust me and until he did I would not try to talk to him. I would include him in general conversations, but I would make no overtures for friendship. It hurt so much, but I was slo

Being alive during the time of Avatar Aang was something I will never forget. The entire world had been at war against the Fire Nation and their reign of terror, the Avatar seemingly lost to the world, and then the great battle between the Fire Lord and the Avatar...it was something I am glad passed me by. For the most part. Having been born in the Fire Nation I was constantly bombarded by the fanatical talk of the times that we were superior to the other nations. The Air Benders had all died, u

Robin wondered if he was still dreaming because just before supper a team of butlers swarmed his rooms with clothes he knew were brand new. He had been literally in the process of putting the finishing touches on his costume when a knock came at the door and then a dozen men and Wini came in. “That outfit simply will not do,” said Winifred. “Off with it.” He had little choice either because the men were already stripping him. From thin air he saw that his wardrobe was being filled with clothes

Time changes all things, even in the Elven world where time goes by so slowly and time can do so much. To us change is as steady as the seasons because that is what changes the most frequently in our world of centuries. Yet change came to us in the span of weeks. Folk began pouring in, representatives of races that had been kept out of our forests and villages. The Dwarves were first to arrive, thirteen battle hardened and ready people as broad through the chest and shoulders as they were tall a

When Robin awoke it was because the gentle swaying had stopped. He opened his eyes to familiar surroundings. All stables looked, smelled, and sounded the same. Lexi was just pulling up rein in a stall. “Awake?” “Mmhmm.” Robin swung his leg over and landed more heavily than he would have liked, but there was only minimal pain. Lexi slid off and went to unsaddle Mist when Robin started doing it. “You don't have to do that.” “I need to do something to repay you for your kindness. Besides, groomi

Monday in the office was kinda funny in a scary way. I knew they were all Lycanthropes of whatever sort. Wolves were the most dominant here with a few tigers, owls and bears thrown in. The funny thing is I was not the least bit frightened and I should have been. I came in whistling and all the bitches took one sniff of me and look so confused. I know they smelled me, but they also smelled Patrick's scent that still lingered about me although he had told me how to clean up with a soap that neutra
