I think it was 2:30 (after getting up to read trying to make myself sleepy) before, I finally nodded off. Here’s to tonight being better for both of us.     Yes, it was I read somewhere - so long ago, I don’t remember where - that mittens keep your hands warmer because your fingers are all together rather than separated like they are with gloves, so that’s what I use to keep my hands warm. I end up taking my gloves off to do stuff anyway, so I don’t notice a difference.

    That’s the weird thing, I think it was awfuler (yes, that is not a typo, just me making an apropos word ) where you are than where I am. I was just outside because I needed some sunshine. Have to say, it is glorious out there - well, except the puddles I couldn’t avoid, so my feet got wet.
