    I see an apple. My mind’s eye is how I remember things or remember how to certain tasks Ive always thought of my brain as a filing (dammit, it took me long enough to spell that word correctly 🤦‍♀️) cabinet that opens to the pertinent drawer when the need arises. It is really interesting to know this is not the case 100% across the board for everyone. And there is a name for it, to boot. This has been a very enlightening blog, and though I now know you “see” things differently then me you are, and always be, the tim you produces great stories and have interesting thoughts that habe mde me ponder on more than one or two occasions. xoxo

    I found one of the “real people” ones a couple days ago. You can certainly tell the difference in quality vs the AI ones. I left a comment, because it was an quality work - storyline and the “writing” - and got a thank you comment from the author making note of what I said in my comment, which was nice. Initially, I didn’t realize I was listening to AI stories as I don’t pay attention to the small print below the title. I just thought it was computer readers making the mistakes. Now, I know better.

    Yeah, this time his departure went without a hitch. in ‘25, he and my nephew were leaving early after a visit in the summer. It was still dark outside and the front door was open so they could watch for their ride to the airport. Sounds good, right? Nope, not so good. All of a sudden there was about a dozen flying ants clinging to the walls in the front hall. After a quick exit out the door, I went on a killing spree. Luckily, the ants were kinda sluggish, so they were easy pickings. My brother and nephew got to enjoy the cool morning air while they waited on the porch for their ride to show up, so all was good with them.

    Darn it! I saved this without meaning to… Anyway, back to it. tim, your writing is always brilliant, so don’t stop due to those invading your craft with dime store offerings. Btw, my brother’s been visiting this past week, so I’m behind in my reading. Having read a couple of reviews I’m looking forward to reading what you posted last week. Oh, and wish me luck I’m able to wake up tomorrow on time to see my brother off at 5 am — gotta love those early morning flights. PS: AI story creators are—and will always be—in your rear view mirror. Just saying…

    Good afternoon DiCers. I hope your weather is a glorious as mine is. Stopped what I was doing put the election sign back on my newly cut lawn and to refill the paper towels in the kitchen, plus store away the extras in the linen closet. Decided I needed another coffee/hot chocolate, so I made it. Went back downstairs to my chair only to find an already made coffee/hot chocolate sitting on the side table. 🤦‍♀️ My short term memory does not exist…. And yes, I’ll be drinking both of them. Here’s to hoping I don’t have trouble sleeping tonight.

    I’ve only seen a green sky one time. It was some time in the late 70s or early 80. This was in Barrie, but not the year they had the tornado. It was bright green, and was quite something to see. I only got some wind and rain and was quite shocked by all the damage Toronto endured. Glad you and Mike weren’t in the thick of it.

    We’re now under a red alert as well, though no bangs, rain or flash of lightning as yet. It’s really quite still outside too. Scratch that, the rain has started.

    @Mikiesboy Hey tim, I just checked the Weather Network and see that Toronto is under an Orange Alert for severe t-storm and maybe even hail. My area is as well, so I’m going to put the lawn furniture away. Stay safe and dry - ie. indoors xoxo

    I was just outside to bring in the bins as it’s recycle day. The air was cool with a lovely breeze and some clouds keeping the hot sun hidden. I hope your weather is the same as it is so nice I’m heading out for a walk right now. Take care, tim. xoxo
