    Phil wanted a roast, so i have a big chuck roast in the oven with potatoes, onion, and carrots good to see everyone!

    we can't walk to any of the stores, but we have a great little town square. we shop there for our dog treats, salsa & hot sauces and gifts at the unique boutiques and antique stores. there are quite a few restaurants as well, that aren't chain places.

(i don't have a cookies emoji on my laptop ) @BHopper2 sorry about the craptacular weather, it's cold and dreary here too, the rain has caused some localized flooding here again. how was your visit with Mom?

    spent a wonderful morning with band kids from all over the Austin area. a well behaved bunch they were! now i'm headed to have my hair done have a great afternoon!

    when you read this, and you should, remember that living, and loving are acts of bravery. this story from tim is about being brave. brave enough to open oneself to love; brave enough to fight for it, and to know when to let go. writing is also about bravery, tim has often said "write bravely" and here, he's done just that. if you've a tender heart, have a tissue or a hankie and be ready for all the feels! it's a difficult journey you're about to embark on, but one that is so worth it!

    oh boy, this one was a journey! it was hard to read, but Tarek and Tommy's love shone through the whole story. i'm not sure that i could do what Tarek did, and i know that Phil could not Tommy was brave to accept what Tarek was offering, to fight for his health for so long and to open himself to love Tarek was brave to reach out to Tommy, support him, help him grow, and to love him and fiercely as he did and tim, you were brave to write it, you always tell people to "write bravely" and you did just that. thanks for trusting us with this one, tim
