    Chapter 19

Yes, Eddie is the hero! As many of you suspected he would be. There is still a bit of recovery to go, especially for Bryan who is burdened with guilt, which is why there is still a few more chapters to go. Glad you enjoyed MD demise and Wyatt's rescue!

    Chapter 19

You are absolutely right. Bryan is actually the one who would probably have the most trouble, especially with his guilt. But he does have Wyatt and Eddie to be more concerned with now. Thank you so very much for reading and reviewing! I'm so glad you are enjoying the story!

    Chapter 19

Now I'm singing that song in my head I've been trying to figure out how to deal with Bryan's father's death. I think it's going to have to be one of those things that's a suspicion, but can't be proven... Thanks so much for reading and reviewing!

Yes, most definitely her dying where she caused others so much pain is poetic justice. They do have some healing to do, which is why we have a few more chapters even though Wyatt has been 'rescued'. Thanks so much for reading and reviewing!

    Chapter 19

Hehe, I can see wanting her to suffer more. I think her dying at Bryan's hands, so to speak, is rather ironic since she was 'doing it for him'. So glad you enjoyed it!

Hey, you're the one who inspired me to write another one when you asked about it! I really do like the prompts, but when I'm in the middle of another story, I tend to not want to get distracted by other characters. Probably why I don't write more than one story at a time.
  16. I think that painting hit Matt harder than it would have Avery, even if Avery had seen it, mostly because Matt saw Avery's back in all it's gory mess--which Avery wouldn't have seen himself. (sorry I'm late in responding, I didn't realize I hadn't)
  17. Thank you! I think these prompts let me explore characters past the end of their 'story'. I like to think of them as real people continuing on after their main story is told. (sorry I'm late in responding, I didn't realize I hadn't)
  18. I tend to prefer realistic art myself, so I enjoyed playing around with the different perspectives. (sorry I'm late in responding, I didn't realize I hadn't)

  20. Chapter 19 "What did you do, mom?" Bryan's pulse hammered in his throat. He'd known his mom was a bit zealous about her ideas of the perfect family. He'd heard dad fight with her about her desire to put Eddie in a home even when he was younger. Fortunately, his dad had won those fights, refusing to let his son go. She'd always seemed a bit embarrassed whenever Dad wanted to take everyone to the zoo or the movies or even just the mall. Eddie's innocent, childlike reactions to things that

  23. Prompt #446: List of words – notebook, pen, coffee, a crystal, and a broken light bulb Just a Cereal Avery stared at the notebook, the pen clutched between his fingers. This was so hard. Why the hell was his therapist asking him to do this? "Avery, repressing your memories and anger completely isn't healthy. It allows them to fester inside of you, to control you. Using this notebook to write down or draw out your feelings when they overwhelm you will allow you to start to purge th
