  1. Chapter 3 Something was going on at the house. Casey had been sitting in the sun on the back deck, when he'd heard the rumble of a large vehicle coming over the land bridge that connected them to the main land. He had thought it was Martin, returning from his errands in town at first. But this sounded much different, bigger. The undercurrent had been rough this morning, and his muscles felt suitably weary and relaxed from the exercise. With his tablet in his lap as he played Cut the Rop

    Chapter 2

Oh, poor ezra. I know this is going to be a rough ride, but I guess if I can dish it out I should be able to take it too, huh? Hehe. Great chapter as always...

    Chapter 1

Hey there! Great start to a new story (just don't forget proph!), I suspect things aren't always as they seem. I'm worried he's hiding more than just getting beaten up by bullies. Can't wait for more chapters as always.
  4. Chapter 2 Casey dove under the surface of the tropical waters. He was very familiar with the waters and coral reefs around his island home here off the coast of Sri Lanka in the Gulf of Mannar. He'd lived here for as long as he could remember. First with both Uncle Thomas and Uncle Martin, and now with just Uncle Martin. God, how he missed Uncle Thomas. He choked back his grief. It had been over five years now, he didn't think Thomas's death should still affect him so much, but it did.

    That Guy

So glad that you are that guy for someone who needs it. God bless you for being that guy.

    Chapter 1

Thank you. Yes, Casey is feeling lonely without Thomas since Martin isn't the most caring of people.

    Chapter 1

Oh, cool, I didn't know that it meant bathing too! That works out so well. You'll find out specifically what happened to Thomas in a later chapter. The problem is that the loss of Thomas has made Martin rather bitter.

    Prologue

Hehe, thank you! Hopefully knowing you all will be waiting for it will keep me from putting off sitting down and writing the rest of it that's running around in my head!

    Prologue

The prologue is probably the hardest because it does involve Casey as such a young child. Hope you will enjoy the rest.

    Prologue

That actually is the hardest part, so if you made it through that, it shouldn't be toooo bad from here on out--certainly not All In or What No One Sees hard.
  11. Chapter 1 Brian Martin watched as his partner ripped the monitor wires off the boy angrily, his arms curling around the limp body as he pressed his head to the young boy's chest. He hid the hypodermic needle quickly and ignored the chaos of the other scientists buzzing around him for a moment, glad that Thomas had managed to remove the monitor wires. Dr. Nelson Harris was gleaming down at the boy's lower half, his hand sliding over the sleek skin. In the seconds after the restraints had b
  12. Prologue "Casey, you have to calm down," the man above him intoned, placing a strong hand on his chest to hold him in place. As if the straps weren't already doing that. The five year old's breathing was escalating as he tried to understand why they were doing this. His tiny heart felt like it was going to beat out of his chest, and tears leaked down his temples into his sandy brown hair. "W-wh-what... w-what are you d-doing?" he finally managed to gasp out. He'd been on this table so ma
  13. Stolen from the lab that created him and crushed under the overwhelming guilt of the death of a beloved uncle, Casey seeks what little peace he can in the only place that accepts him--the ocean. Arriving at his family's old cottage, Shawn senses something odd about his neighbors--Martin outright tells him to f-off and the young Casey is terrified of his uncle's retribution. Shawn's determined to get beneath the currents of Casey's fears and find the man he knows is hiding there
  14. Roman (and even the hunters) will probably haunt both of them for a while; it will get better, but it may never go away completely. Thanks so much for reading and reviewing.
  15. Oh, thank YOU for writing so many great prompts! None of these would be here without you! Thanks so much for taking the time to come up with them!
  16. It was definitely a bit sadder than other prompts. Thought I'd just remind everyone just how bad Roman was... Thanks so much for reading and reviewing.
  17. Yes, this one is much more somber than most of the other shorts. Glad you enjoyed it.
  18. Thank you, and it might be something I'd drop into the third book, like I did with the ZeBra prompt.
  19. Prompt #400--First Line: "But I heard you were dead!" The Past Returns "B-but I heard you were d-dead!" he whispered in horror as he looked up at the man who had tormented him from the first day, whipped him, almost killed him. The blazing eyes of his master's brother loomed over him as he huddled, trying to disappear into the floor beneath him. He was freezing, his naked body shaking uncontrollably. He didn't know where he was. Why was he here and not with Damien? Why had his lov
