    I’m dreaming of ice cream, craving it right now… Lamb steaks, roast veg and snow peas for dinner. OMG the “slight” amount of chilli on the steaks was just a bit much. Watery eyes, snotty nose and that burning sensation is a good indication that it was a bit hot 🥵 I cooked both pieces, one for tonight and the other cold for tomorrow’s lunch. I have some tzatziki which should calm things down

    But what is currently causing me pain right now? Nothing from the lists above… I clipped my little toe on some furniture and am not happy

    I thought the list was long enough to miss out the murder snail and the murder octopus - the octopus is particularly mean as it’s venom paralyses your normal muscle so you can’t move or breathe but smooth muscle is not effected so your heart keeps beating as you suffocate. It does get pretty blue rings on its skin just before it tries to kill you And the jellyfish in the tropics as well as crocodiles.

    And as you rightly point out, they are MOSTLY on the eastern seaboard. Mostly means some are here to look out for you

    We do have the Redback spider and a single one of those shut down a major Japanese port. Murder chickens so tough we lost a war against them Kangaroos that will lean back and then gut you with their claws Snakes, lots of different kinds, mostly bitey but some will strangle you Sharks, bitey ones Wednesdays we have feral lions (and stinky bins that need to be put out) The plants are tough, spiny or poisonous. Some are tough, spiny and poisonous. I have used ummm… impolite language when I have brushed up against some of the spiny ones. They are sharp Quokkas are nice…
