Hello young Albert They are getting there. The fire near my nephew’s school is under control and he had to go back today. The fire near sister and dad is a bit more contained. Not quite there but the reduced temps should help a lot. still keeping fingers crossed

A bit of rain (a very small bit) and a good drop in temperature have made things easier for the firies. Dad is not back but they will want the fire totally under control before they bring them all back. My sister has the day off The town that got burned now has a toxic chemical warning

My sister is back home but still on alert. It’s cooler with a promise of some rain this afternoon. Keep fingers crossed. Dad hasn’t returned because there are no spare ambulances. some rain for here, there and other spots on fire would be awesome

The next town to the north east is now on fire and people are being told it’s too late to leave. They should all have fire plans in place so I am keeping fingers crossed for them too. At the moment the wind seems to be looking after my sisters town but the fire is still not been contained so anything is possible. thanks for all your kind thoughts. It will be a rough night but at least I can check in to see where the fire front is. And very importantly I know they are all well away from the fire.

I feel a bit sick…

My sister and dogs are with friends in the next town and Dad is in the hospital there. All are safe. No news about the house or Dad’s home but they have lost the football club and rubbish tip. The main fire front is only 2-3 km from the town (less than 2 miles). There is also a fire near my nephew’s school and he is on “watch and act”. Packed and ready to get on the school bus if they are being evacuated It’s still scary but they are safe.

OMG, my sister is evacuating because of an out of control fire. The whole town is in the red zone. No idea what’s happening with my Dad. I am presuming that they are too busy organizing the evac for his home. Keeping fingers and toes crossed
