Hi Albert, he is doing better but still pretty out of it. Yesterday the staff were worried but today it’s all “doing better working his way back from the anesthesia”. My sister went in just before lunch and he was pretty much the same, I went in late afternoon and he was tired and I wasn't sure he recognised me but then he told me to sit, closed his eyes and mumbled something about my sister visiting. Didn't make a lot of sense but he was slipping in and out of sleep.
Hmmmm... thanks for the thoughts but I might tell him later... no one in my family reacts well to anesthesia and Dad gets to be incoherent for a day or two. He was not good today but I have seen him worse. Hopefully the drugs will work out of his system tomorrow and he won’t be hallucinating. It’s not fun but he never remembers so better than others who vomit a lot or who get hives.
Thanks for all the well wishes... he has a job to do today - he has to get out of bed and then tomorrow he needs to walk to the toilet. We will pop in for a visit but ICU has restrictions
Don't really care what I had for dinner... I went to a meeting at work and stopped by the bakery on my way back... mmmmmm date clusters for dessert. Half biscuit half cake, pure indulgence
No idea, we have plenty, warehouses full but the way supermarkets work nowadays is to have only a few days supply on hand. A couple of extra packs sold and the shelves look bare so everyone tries to buy some and suddenly the shelves are bare.
We don’t import toilet paper we make lots of it in South Australia, lots and lots...
No need to panic, if you need to go, we have you covered
Human beings are truly marvelous creatures...
No handshake, no worries...

That might be a good idea but no handshaking, everyone must stay 1m away from each other, and you should be careful who you kiss. Still not sure how you can kiss someone if you are 1m away but that’s the advice from one of our politicians
