    Chapter 2

Lucky is a good person. I like how well you described his rather facile demeanor - I can see where this might be going, at the same time I can't wait for you to continue

    Chapter 1

Blazing first chapter, I can't wait to read on!
  3. **Kelaste** “It’s easy. We just have to keep you alive until Saturday, right?” We were on our way out of the archives, heading for the baggage lockers to reclaim our stuff, and Noom was being antsy. I, for once, felt comfortably calm and collected. It was an amusing twist in behavior but giggling about it probably would make Noom worry even more. The looks he shot at my face were clear enough— I probably didn’t look anywhere near as calm and collected as I felt. I wasn’t a violent heart, and I

    Chapter 1

Bah! This would have been a perfect start for a new multi-chapter story Great read!

    A day in court

**Noom** I’d never had troubles with waking up in time. Most of my life, the problem had been falling asleep at all, though of course I slept at some point. It just never felt restful or easy to sleep. When I opened my eyes to find a softly snoring, pliant body wrapped around me, I was disappointed for a second. Then I squashed the feeling, like I had done all my life. I had awoken with sunrise, like every day, and now, I had hours to kill before anything of interest would happen. Of course, h

    Rope of sand

I surely hope so! I'll just have to control myself and not let the storyline gallop away again

    Rope of sand

~*Jared*~ "Again!" The wooden floor looked very inviting from mere inches away. Jared didn't want to get up, knowing he'd get thrown down again, anyway, but there was yet a glint of pride in him that hadn't been throttled into submission. It wasn't for a lack of trying on Hector's part, who looked outrageously unblemished. "Come on, get up! You didn't even get a punch in," Hector taunted, looking amused with Jared's inability to counter his attacks. They had been sparring for two hours, one

Thank you for your review! I like the way you think, you just gave me an idea with your questions, thanks!
  9. I awoke to a blaring voice coming from the drive-through speaker. I couldn’t have slept through our stint to the drive through, that speaker system was loud enough to make my teeth rattle. It was dark outside the car, and the seats beneath me smelled like Pop-Tarts and kids’ sweat, very mundane and non-threatening. I was wrapped in my blanket and I still felt very hungry, but my nerves had thankfully calmed down. I felt serene and safe. Even better, as soon as we reached the second drive-throug
  10. Noom didn’t free my arms, but at least he helped me back into the trousers before muttering something about a call and wandering off. I waited for him for a time, but finally the strain of healing this many wounds caught up to me and I fell asleep. The heroin was probably still working its way through my bloodstream because I only woke up when a blanket fell onto my half naked body, and I suddenly looked up into the face of a total stranger. I squealed. It wasn’t my proudest moment, I admit. “
  11. I always found it a bit unbelievable that people don't react alienated to such profound changes. But there's no way Noom will keep his distance for long.
  12. I didn’t scream when I was shot, I was just too surprised. The pain was short and dull, then there was only a throbbing pull in my chest. Hot wetness gushed down my legs, and the innate knowledge that something was terribly wrong gripped me. A shiver crept up my back and into my lungs, accompanied by a rush of adrenaline that made my heart leap with panic. I grabbed for the guy with the gun, tried to hold on to something— anything—, but my vision blurred and I missed. The thought of dying manif
  13. ~*Kelaste*~ Something woke me up in the middle of the night. The house was pitch black, the music had stopped, the cum had dried to a crusty, brittle mass on my ass and stomach, but other than that, everything was just as before. I felt warm and sheltered, physically tired and hazy, but my heart raced with adrenaline, and each thud pounded almost painfully against my ribs. Too relaxed to move, I simply listened into the silence around me, trying to find out why my heart behaved like a frighten

    How to buy time

I actually thought of taking a finger or ear instead, but that would have given away too much of... eh... other stuff! Thank you for your review, very much appreciated!

    How to buy time

Ah, but wouldn't it be boring if it were just a case of 'being tired of his son'? Nonono, readers deserve more than that!
  16. ~*Noom*~ “Hello, Franko? It’s Mike Jorenson. I just found your latest assignment offer and wanted to ask if it’s still active. Yeah, I know I’m late, but you know how things are. I’m a married man.” I sat back and watched Mike do his phone magic. There were dozens of paper stacks covering every square inch of the coffee table and the couches, some even sat on my lap because we had run out of space long before we had run out of papers to sort and look through. Most of them were prints of inform

    The Stranger

I must say, I liked Tantalus up until the point your protagonists got smoochy too quick for my tastes, but I love how this one starts. If there is one thing that can get you down, it's a bad master, or one who just reenacts horrible porn movies. I feel Rick's pain I'm also worried that he'll get stuck as a switcher with a switcher, which might be just as bad. Now I'm gonna go take a cold shower. Sheesh!
  18. ~*Noom*~ Life is hell. I bet you despise those words as much as I do, and I bet you hate people who say those words as much as I do. It's melodramatic, nothing else. Nobody cares, really. Keep your shit to yourself, don't give people even more reasons to laugh at you. But in using those words, I don't whine, I just observe. And I form strong, silent statements out of my observations. No one ever gets to hear them, but thinking them makes me feel all warm and cozy inside. Life is a very tame s
  19. Thanks Gotta fix that right now!
  20. ~*George*~ Carmen, the youngest werewolf of the Banes pack, was fidgeting. Her being able to do that while sitting down in the most comfortable recliner George owned was a feat for itself, but she also made it look easy. "Do I really have to?" she asked for the third time, her eyes pleading more to Mary than to George, whom she had found to be utterly untouched by her unease. Mary, being her aunt and thusly put in the most unfortunate position, sighed and threw another glance at George. His br

    Escape

You are doing great with the small details in your story. I always love to guess what will come next, and I'm surprised and pleased each time It's great how you subtly lead your readers into the right direction, but never blatantly onto the one-tracked path, there is always room for interpretation and what-if's. I can't wait for the next installment!
  22. They are, aren't they? You don't want to look, but you can't stop looking, just like a train crash.
  23. Kel is not the sharpest tool in the box, that's surely true. But maybe he'll be able to surprise you, after all, if he doesn't wake up and begins to notice the world around him, he'll quite probably be dead soon
  24. ~~~ 5 years ago ~~~ There was a dead, mummified mouse lying next to the steps. I could see its tiny white ribcage poking through the remains of its gray fur. The eye-catching intensity of the small bones' color caught my attention even in the near-total darkness of the cellar. I scooted over, leaving a thin, clean track in the dust covering the floor. A chain lead from my stainless-steel-collar to a massive steel ring fixed to the wall, jingling softly with my movements. I poked the dead thing
  25. This is a very fascinating chapter, and I'm really intrigued how you worked in the mind reading. It's very graspable and easy to imagine, and I love how the dominatrix-mindreader was described as not feeling evil, but just alien and strange. Good work, I'm hungering for more!
