The midteens are a time of physical and emotional distress for many of us. So much so that when we finally reach the age where we are able to do most things an adult can do (drive, vote, etc) we tend to forget many of the events and people that accompanied them. So it was with my friendship with George P, a gangling pimply faced friend id met at summer camp at he age of fourteen. As roommates we laughed together, shared jokes, played poker til the morning's wee hours and just paled around together that summer. And when the fall set in wed returned to our respective schools and families like most boys our age. And that time had hencefoth been forgotten.
