No, don't feel bad, this comment made my day. It's much better to know that people are still reading this than it having been forgotten. And it really did turn out to be acute bronchitis. But, the clinic docs got me stronger meds (not antibiotics or anything, but stuff to counter the symptoms which is what really made me miserable). They even got me an inhaler! I shouldn't be so happy and excited about it, but I am. Breathing is a wonderful thing, ha ha ha.

Yeah, it sucks trying to be an individual in a house full of more than one sibling. Hand me downs are unavoidable, but I never minded mine (on the contrary, I'm all for free things...even old unfashionable weird things that no one cared for). But, the difference in my case was that during a vital time frame where a child is supposed to connect with their mother, my mom had to be flown to another state for hardcore surgery. My oldest siblings took the parental mantle and...I'm not going to go into detail (it'd turn this reply into another novel). Every family has it rough during different stages. The point is you just have to look out for your own without being taking for granted too much and just try to get along and be the mature one when need be. Grudges are very unhealthy.

-tight hug- That's tough. Remember that brothers are more than just blood relations, good friends can be your siblings, too! I've noticed that a lot firstborns (the oldest siblings) are usually very independent and want their own lives. That's not the case always, I'm sure. But, I've seen it a lot. And no matter how good the relationship is between siblings, there can be some very nasty rough patches...usually about money, judgement, and lies/betrayal/lack of proper communication. You just have to do your personal best and hope that they reciprocate at some point. Holding grudges is not healthy, but it's oh so easy to do.
