Ah, sacrifices...

"Get the fuck off my island!" Caden demanded as he threw one of the large bags that were laying on the pier t in the direction of the large yacht before him. Julius, who was standing on the railing of the boat, easily caught it with one hand and yelled back that getting off the island was exactly what he was doing, followed by an array of colorful swearing directed towards the redhead. "Should we do something?" Sam asked the dark-haired vampire beside him, as he watched his master and the

Yes. 🤣 Kills me every time. That, and the initial "where the fuck is he?" Newborn Caden on a rampage.
-
"Where the fuck is he?!" Caden screamed as he barged into the cabin, scaring Sam half to death, and making him fall off the bed he had been laying on. The young man quickly got to his feet again to look at the redhead, who he hadn't seen ever since the night Julius had killed him ten weeks ago. He had figured that the guy might look different now that he was a vampire, but the changes in his appearance and aura still surprised him. Caden’s already pale skin had turned almost snow white. His

Twice the Night Before Christmas
Thirdly commented on Aditus's story chapter in Twice the Night Before Christmas
You know Luther looks kinda lonesome...👀 -
What, no. It's one of your first English poems. And it's still good. Leave it.
-
Thank you! Glad you liked it.
-
He has his reasons for being extra. Part one genetics, part two desperation.
-
Agreed. My friend Toma was the one who had originally breathed life into Adain as a character, so, it was a challenge to keep him consistent through and through (he gave Toma many laughs). I'm glad you enjoyed this one.

Grief is felt on different levels by everyone dealing with loss, and no one has the right to judge the processes of others.

Mark, the Haiku: I stole Sam's keys to run you over with a car but, you were redeemed

Twice the Night Before Christmas
Thirdly commented on Aditus's story chapter in Twice the Night Before Christmas
Well for me it still is, although it happened over a year ago. I always loved vampires, dressed up as a vampire on All Hollows Eve, yet I'd never thought they really existed. - Sky, is that you, buddy? Today I will tell you the story of what happened after I became a vampire. -Hold on let me get comfortable and grab some popcorn. Okay, go. The scent worked like a trigger pulse; it made me throw up all over the poor guy. The worst part of it all? The smell increased. I had vomited blood. - LMAO!! Buddy, how are you gonna survive? As a human I had hated blood, its smell, its taste, its sight; I was almost allergic to it. Now it looked like, as vampire, I was still allergic to it. - I’m crying, I’m laughing so hard. One of the high points in my whole miserable existence had been when my mouth suddenly filled with blood, and spitting it out I heard a distinct clunk clunk because my canines just landed in the bin. Shocked, I put my tongue into the gap and ouch, cut myself with the tips of the new shiny and fucking sharp vampire fangs that were already breaking out of my gums. - LMAO!! That was a high point?? Master sneered. "One week, if he isn't able to hold his blood by then, I'll put him down." -Jeez. It’s your own dang fault! Alexander climbed into the car, reached out, and Malik handed me over like a bundle of clothes. It was embarrassing. -LMAO! Every time I woke during our flight, Alexander had a small portion of icy cold blood and a mint ready for me. When we finally reached Berlin, I was already feeling better and, with Malik’s help, I could leave the plane on my own, albeit on wobbly feet.- That’s insane and hilarious that Sky had to go to such lengths as a vampire. "I'm all for sacrificing some more of the furniture Sky, if that makes you feel better. Over the years, the cleaning staff became quite proficient with bloodstains on the carpets. Still, you might want to listen to what your master has to say first before you try to kill him. It would be the polite thing to do," Alexander remarked dryly from behind his desk. - LMAO!!! As much as I like the view, Sky, it's too cold to sit like that on the windowsill. Come back to bed, I'll warm you up." - Aww~ -
Mark had dropped the bombshell. Sam was about to accept a job offer which would take him to the other side of the country. He would be away at least for a year if he took the job. - Mark trying to redeem himself. I’m still running you over with the car. Paul had to concentrate on driving. The roads were still in terrible condition, getting worse the closer he came to the lakeside. No time to think unwanted thoughts. - Exactly, get it together. You’re on a mission. "Yes, yes. Jeez!” Flinging the door open Sam breathed in sharply. "P-Paul." "Hey." Hey? What happened with sweeping him off his feet as soon as I see him? - LMAO!! Just in time, he remembered how Sam hated it when people trudged dirt through the house and hurriedly pulled off his boots before continuing into the kitchen. - Yeees! Just with that small detail, you’re already loads better than Mark for Sam hahahahaha. Paul went over to Sam. “And what would you have done if I hadn’t shown up today?” Sam looked at the bookshelves. “I would have emptied all the boxes, tidied up the house – because that calms me, too – cooked a fancy dinner… and asked you to come over to test it.” - Thank goodness!
-
On his way back inside, Sam suddenly stopped to bend down and free something that was wedged into the doorjamb. He held it out for Mark to see. It was the crushed flower head of a red rose. "Why did you have to come here? And you kissed me, asshole!" He slammed the rose on the table so hard the dishes jumped. - LMAO! Truer words… Sam probably deleted everything 'Mark'. "You've been smarter than me, then." He shrugged. - Bruh, you were the one that left his ass! "So there had been someone else. I wondered…" "Yes." "D-did you bring him home when I was at the conference?" "Yes." - Where are those car keys? Didn’t I say we should have run him over, Sam? Didn’t I? *rolls up sleeves*
-
After learning what Sam did for a living, he was the first person that came into my mind, who I could ask to help us setting it up. - Very clever. "The very sad story of how he had to throw out his cheating wife and now is ready to get comforted by you?" - LMAO!!! They stayed in each others arms for long minutes, until the incessant phone ringing annoyed Maya so much that she stormed into the office ready to yell at whoever was on the other side, client or not. - Hopefully that’s Sam there.

From the Ashes Springs New Life
Thirdly commented on Aditus's story chapter in From the Ashes Springs New Life
Ew...I hated the taste of blood. - You must hate blood sausages. I had a black, washed-out Metallica t-shirt with a big yellow mummy skull baring its fangs printed on it, which went well with the black pajama pants. That had to be enough, at least clothes-wise. -LMAO! "I think I will wait for Luther. He will bring enough food to satiate my first hunger. After that, I will more likely be able to savor you, my pretty. What do you think?" - Second dinner? "Um...yes. So we're friends now, with you calling me Sky and all?" Friends don't kill each other, right? - LMAO!! "Sky, wake up! You need to eat." I know this voice. Master! - Well…at least you didn’t remain dead? -
Shhhh I need to work my way all the way back up to The Cat Burglar, and I love your writing style even in this Retro one from 2013.

No, but you'll see.

The Wardrobe, 2013: Okay so I started way back here because I don’t remember if I read these yet or not. So, I figured I’d just go from oldest to most recent, only to find that I DID read it and commented. So, here I am again in 2023 reading it for a second time and... While he stared at the delicate piece of blue Murano glass art standing on the floor, his fingers holding the keys opened, seemingly on their own accord. Heavy metal hit fragile glass and shattered it beyond recognition. - Well, that sucks. Nevertheless standing in the half-empty living room felt like a sucker punch into his guts and before he could stop it, a garbled sound wrenched itself out of his throat. - Aww, Sam. It’ll be okay. He couldn't give in to the pain he felt, waiting to run him over, he wouldn't be a snotty mess. - Don’t let the pain run over YOU, let’s get in a car and run over MARK. I’ve got the car keys right here. Let’s go. Sometime he got hungry and stumbled into the kitchen, where he found some cheese in the fridge, and some crackers in the cupboard. - PFFT! Actually, I once drank a whole white wine bottle by myself and ate cheese with it…and then wept at the waste when I threw it all back up again. I think I was also playing the video game Okage at the time and was trying to get the main character to pair up with a demon king. It was highly entertaining at the time. Afterward I had to start a new save file because I messed a lot of things up in the gameplay beyond repair. Anyway, the point is that whenever I see people doing the same, I try to warn them not to. Sam seems to have been able to stomach it, though. The clothes he had worn five days went straight in the garbage can. - Let me find some matches. I’ll burn them for you. First he cleaned the glass from the hallway- Bruh, it’s a miracle you didn’t walk all over that and make one bloody mess all over the place. I know I would have in the same state. What he noticed immediately was that the bed was made with Sam's cheap before-Mark-sheets. Mark had insisted on buying Egyptian cotton and silk. - Mark making me feel cheap, too. Goddamn. Egyptian cotton? (nanana-nanananana~ sheets of egyptian cotton~) Spare cell phone charger, half empty bag of pretzels, his mother's tea cup, and some papers. - LMAO. Just about the most relatable thing I’ve read in a while. Sam's hand shook and he let it sink to his side. He didn't want to face the emptiness, he wanted it to be locked away behind the wardrobe's doors. - *flailing in despair on the inside for him* After waking up he went into their...the bedroom…- Ouch. I felt that. Every thought of it put firmly away behind cherry wood doors and an iron key. - Nice imagery and callback. Only when he'd hung up and looked at the tear in his jeans it dawned on him that he couldn't present the new program wearing sweatpants or ratty old, blue jeans; not with this client. No, Sam had to wear a suit, with a dress shirt, definitely a tie. Sam had to open the wardrobe. - Well, shit. What can you do? Try to do it real fast and just hope to God that moths haven’t been eating away holes on them! Finding the tie on the bottom of the wardrobe had helped to clear the fog he had allowed to cloud his mind for far too long. - *gushing tears* His fingers reached out and traced one of the swirls that matched his eyes so perfectly. - LMAO! Woo! Yaaaaaay. Aww, this oneshot still hits so damn hard! So hard. So good. Still love it.

The tanzanite engagement ring on Adain's left ring finger began to glow as he held out his arms and formed a row of clouds that cycled around the garden in the backyard. In the past year, they'd found that, beyond bismuth, other crystals also helped to amplify their magic in far less harmful ways. However, his magic being used for chores had the young man let out a deep sigh. "Isn't this what sprinkler systems are for?" Aid whined. "Sprinkler systems waste more energy and water than
-
Good questions. All I know for sure is that one of my favorite scenes out of the whole thing is coming up in the next chapter, and all I can say about that is "Caden."
-
"For some strange reason, he didn't want the young man to die. Hell, he didn't even want him to be in real pain." - Well, at least we know Julius is going to be more careful regarding Sam.
-
"Fuuuuck!" Sam groaned as the vampire's fangs bored into his wrist. Though Julius had promised it wouldn't hurt, it still felt like someone was stabbing him with two syringes at the same time. Come on, you are no quitter! You can do this! Just imagine it's a new piercing or tattoo! The young man told himself, as he gritted his teeth and pushed through the initial pain. As the discomfort slowly subsided, a warm, tingly feeling spread from his hand, up his arm and then over his entire body, making
