  1. Vis Sepherus remained awake long enough to welcome the Walker family to the estate and prepare a room for them if they chose to stay overnight. I showed the whelps where the art room was if they felt bored and asked Lucio to attend to them. Meanwhile, the Vesper Estate hosts would rest. Unlike Owin, who fell asleep almost immediately in relief, my mate refused to rest until he heard the entire story from beginning to end of what happened to me. The amphiptere had been witnessed by some wyve
  2. There is only one teeny tiny invisible hint as to why, but it's never spelled out (I would be shocked if anyone guesses it right). When we get to that scene, I will probably state the amphiptere's reasoning in the author notes.
  3. I'm pretty sure I felt similarly when I wrote that part.
  4. "We all gotta eat a biiiig breakfast today!" The bustling I heard around me urged me to awaken. My newfound friends were all in squill form and were seated around a long table outside. The food spread was impressive. One of the whelps handed me a roll full of cefs. I usually disliked cefs, but I was hungry and didn't hesitate to eat them. They weren't nearly as bad as I remembered. As I bit into a second roll, I had the fleeting thought that Emery would have really enjoyed them. When w
  5. We believe he can touch the sky.
  6. Agreed!
  7. Warning: Rhyad being hit hard with the feels? Feelings. Emery had been able to lift off with just the strength of his wings; I had witnessed it firsthand. Shire had left to bring us food. He said I'd definitely need it the most. As I stretched out my wings, I felt the scar tugging on my back. I snapped my wings closed and began to pace. My gaze lifted to the sky out of habit. Did it matter if it was cloudy or not when I was a lightning remnant? The sky was bright blue without a speck o
  8. I do my best to follow the rules. My friends and the moderators have trained me well throughout the years. 😂
  9. We are confused because Rhyad himself is confused. He'll clear it all up for us later on.
  10. Yes on learning to fly, no on the parents having orchestrated any of this. That particular amphiptere had its reasons for bringing Rhy over despite him being mated. That reason is never really explained, but hinted at towards the end.
  11. Owin wasn’t the one that shot lightning out of his mouth. If he had a power manifest, he’d have been grabbed, too.
  12. He was also healed up and unwittingly wooed. Of course he was fine with it after that. 😂
  13. Wes, you’re killing me. 🤣
  14. Kidnapping is still uncool, even if done with good intentions.
  15. I was startled awake with vertigo still curling about in my stomach. Where was I? As I looked at my surroundings, they were downright foreign. How far was I from the Troth Season grounds? Hunched over, I took slow, measured steps, wary of everything. However, there were no amphipteres to be found. The area was shaded, and the closer I walked towards the center, the brighter it seemed to be. My head tilted up high. Walls that were made of curled stone rose in circumference around springy gra

    Chapter 1

    Exactly.
  17. Unfortunately.
  18. I know, right? Can't he just be happy? For one full day?
  19. Warning: Kidnapping is Always an Option? Emery and I were still in our winged forms, curled onto our sides, with our wings as our blankets. He had claimed me so many times that I stopped counting after the fourth. At some point, we had allowed our natural wyvern forms to take over. We were far enough away that we drowned out the sounds of any other bonding wyverns with our own. Troth Season felt a lot less frightening after that. I felt a strange tingle beneath my scales as the sky beg
  20. Agreed. Owin doesn’t deserve something like that.
  21. We’ll see.
  22. Warning: Intersex Wyvern smut. Knotting? If more than a day had passed since we were drugged with Mialat, that meant that Emery's Thieplum blend was already out of my system. Was it possible that I was the biggest target in the woods that night, a Dawn omega with bright scales in heat? The panic I saw in Owin made perfect sense by then. 'Hey, it'll be ok. I won't let anything happen to you.' Owin vowed. 'We just have to somehow pull off the biggest evasive maneuver we've ever done.'
  23. I don’t blame you for thinking that way.
  24. Agreed. Such a twisted couple.
  25. Warning: Offspring abuse. Drugging. ::: "Oswith, darling," our mother greeted with a sigh as she draped herself on his lap. "Our boys are simply clueless. How could they exist beneath the same roof of such a coveted alpha like Vis Sepherus and not manage to claim him completely? It was a miracle that he so much as took notice of a male omega in the first place. I heard his last relationship was with a woman..." How had she found out about Lene? I barely managed to get so much as h
