    Distant Calls

Momo, a high school student weighed down by a difficult home life, starts experiencing intense dreams that hint at a mysterious past. When he meets Leo, a new classmate with a strangely comforting presence, the two realize their lives are more connected than they first thought. Together, they navigate friendship, strange coincidences, and personal challenges on a journey toward hope and self-discovery. ( BL, angst, profanity, reincarnation, non-consensual gropage?)

    I hope it's happy tears.

    Part 5

A/N: Yes. Years later, Toma and I have finally written the Epilogue for this one. If you are reading this, you might want to start it from the beginning again, as it's been cleaned up a good deal and speckled with pictures. :: Kender smiled as wonderful memories of Septimus and Renael’s toddler years resurfaced. He was waiting patiently with Silkes at the appropriate gate in the airport for his two old friends to arrive. It was Rena who caught sight of him first. She rushed over to g
  4. Thanks @Marty and @Zombie!
  5. What is the youngest age a person can be to join the website? As an older generation myself, I never really thought about this.
  6. I'm glad you enjoyed it. There will always be another story.
  7. Almost forgot! The mystery of why the amphiptere grabbed Rhyad even though he was already mated: That particular amphiptere has the gift of foresight. He envisioned the scene of being surrounded by the whelps.
  8. Warning: Whelps hatching. Warm and fuzzy feelings. The months seemed to fly by. Emery and I had moved out of the Vesper estate into the Tesran estate. My brother felt forlorn about it until he realized just how quickly he could visit us whenever he donned his wyvern form. In my wyvern form, I laid and began to incubate seven eggs. Before we knew it, Emery welcomed not only the Walkers to the Tesran estate but Sepherus, Owin, the valley gang, and a couple of amphipteres, as well. I
  9. We’ll, we don’t really know what happened to them after that... maybe karma caught up to them and an amphiptere dropped them into a volcano.
  10. I imagine they would have tried selling off their own grandchildren if they knew they existed.
  11. Warning: Emotional offspring abuse. The Edesias. The following morning, during breakfast, Sepherus walked over and whispered something into Owin's ear. My brother's expression soured immediately. What was that about? "Is something wrong?" I asked from across the table. "Our parents are here," Owin responded through gritted teeth. "When I went to them for help in finding you, all they cared about was if I knew what alpha had mated you to demand compensation!" Compensation? He
  12. Wes, I can't...I just can't... 🤣🤣
  13. Warning: Squill smut? The Walkers agreed to officially spend the night at the estate. They were given permission to roam the grounds, though specific instructions were given to the whelps for safety since there were, indeed, some poisonous plants around. We would all see them off in the morning. Emery and I checked on the greenhouses. Our inspection was nowhere near as thorough as usual because we kept distracting one another with a touch, a glance, or a conversation.
  14. Yes. His was a rollercoaster for a while.
  15. Exactly! No whelps anywhere near the grandparents.
  16. My mother, who absolutely hates sweets and can't even get sweetness past her taste buds...was caught on tape scooping glops of chocolate frosting off a cake while she was pregnant with me. My older siblings looked on in shock as she ate it.
  17. Vis Sepherus remained awake long enough to welcome the Walker family to the estate and prepare a room for them if they chose to stay overnight. I showed the whelps where the art room was if they felt bored and asked Lucio to attend to them. Meanwhile, the Vesper Estate hosts would rest. Unlike Owin, who fell asleep almost immediately in relief, my mate refused to rest until he heard the entire story from beginning to end of what happened to me. The amphiptere had been witnessed by some wyve
  18. There is only one teeny tiny invisible hint as to why, but it's never spelled out (I would be shocked if anyone guesses it right). When we get to that scene, I will probably state the amphiptere's reasoning in the author notes.
  19. I'm pretty sure I felt similarly when I wrote that part.
  20. "We all gotta eat a biiiig breakfast today!" The bustling I heard around me urged me to awaken. My newfound friends were all in squill form and were seated around a long table outside. The food spread was impressive. One of the whelps handed me a roll full of cefs. I usually disliked cefs, but I was hungry and didn't hesitate to eat them. They weren't nearly as bad as I remembered. As I bit into a second roll, I had the fleeting thought that Emery would have really enjoyed them. When w
  21. We believe he can touch the sky.
  22. Agreed!
  23. Warning: Rhyad being hit hard with the feels? Feelings. Emery had been able to lift off with just the strength of his wings; I had witnessed it firsthand. Shire had left to bring us food. He said I'd definitely need it the most. As I stretched out my wings, I felt the scar tugging on my back. I snapped my wings closed and began to pace. My gaze lifted to the sky out of habit. Did it matter if it was cloudy or not when I was a lightning remnant? The sky was bright blue without a speck o
  24. I do my best to follow the rules. My friends and the moderators have trained me well throughout the years. 😂
