First of all, once Omegas find their mates, they have their own pack/family unit and that is respected. Secondly, humans are cared for and revered by werewolves (you'll see this more illustrated in further chapters). In the case of an Omega and human couple, the Omega is the one that protects the human under the assumption that, some day, the human will choose to be turned by them and take on the more dominant role (be it male, female, or intersex). In the case of Maribelle, her moving in with him is perceived as if she's going to a human area to watch over those humans and report any vampires. Both werewolves and vampires adore humans, it's what the turf wars were all about years prior. In a way, humans are like a bounty to them, ha ha. Treasure. He's not moving them in. Mari's doing all the leg work. She just told him "I'm telling my parents and I'm moving in." The reason that Maribelle did not bring him right away is because the guy has little to no idea about anything dealing with werewolves. She hasn't prepared him yet to face her strong, beloved cousin and his equally as strong werewolf mates (not that they'd do anything to him). Once again, humans are revered and protected, so she wants to ease him into it. "You see, my cousin and his mates are all gay and they're all total sweethearts...I promise they won't eat you" I'm sure it took her quite a bit to explain what being the mate of an Omega entailed, to start with. We will see him later on, though, generally acclimated.

Opposite case, opposite. Gods in discord, mortals chilling. Mortals try to teach Gods to get along.

I apologize for the vivid descriptions. Galamin was a twisted fuck and his actions proved it. But, I will not apologize for the event itself. It didn't "come out of nowhere" there were hints and foreshadowing scattered throughout the story that centered around this innocent young man who was unfortunately targeted nearly from the minute he set foot into that world. Yes, it's awful. But, awful things happen to the best of us. Many of my friends and family (Robin's as well) have lived through way darker stuff than Fin's. We can't prevent bad things from happening all the time, sometimes it just happens. The important part is that we push through it and realize that we're not the only ones. Finian used his pain and he formed a stronger bond to Synan, who had gone through loads worse. Together, they then made a real difference. We wanted to illustrate that, from the beginning, the fact that Finian was a Maiden/innocent virgin was not what made him special. It was the way that he drew others to him and formed amazing friendships and, eventually, a stronger family. In the case of Alistair waiting for him, that's just the kind of person that he is. When you truly love a person, whether they're pure or not doesn't matter. Allie would have lived his life at Finian's side even if they were never able to join in that manner. Neither we nor Finian wish what happened to him on anyone else, but we empathize with others that have suffered worse (to be quite honest, Galamin's was a bit tame compared to the abuse many have suffered in life), and hope that, like Finian, they move forward, seek help, and help others until they are able to forgive themselves for events that were out of their hands.

Just a couple of more chapters, if I'm not mistaken.

LMAO! Yes, well we did move ahead in increments. Glad you're enjoying it so far.

You are amazing for remembering those two! The blind date that Penni was on the first time he met Renke was with a distant cousin from his family. So, this takes place after all of that. Penni told his parents he was stood up (which he was, that's how he started wandering around in the first place...he's going to give poor Renke grey hairs from pure worry). And then his parents decided "Well, there aren't any other Unicorn royals around...let's look into Nightmare royals." Amshel is mixed, so he was ideal.

Simon won't give him up so easily.

Robin said almost the same exact thing when she first read this chapter, too, ha ha.

Chapter 15- Nagging Feelings
Thirdly commented on Thirdly's story chapter in Chapter 15- Nagging Feelings
I owe you some six replies on this story, but I'm only going to do this one big reply so that I don't spam your message inbox. I just wanted to take the time to thank you for your support and for giving my silly stories a chance. This one, in particular, was one of my first ventures in writing. So, I know it was probably a bumpy ride. But, I sure hope that it gave you a good few laughs. -
Two years ago I entered my junior year of college. That's pretty much what happened. This one should be completed and posted by the end of the summer! Hopefully along with Kidnapping is Always an Option and The New Solare, both of which are literally only one or two chapters away from the end.

Wesley up at the top of the comments was saying he shouldn't read the story with his mother in the room. Well, I shouldn't be reading comments at work.

Yes, all things considered, I think Mari handled it fairly well. Elias was definitely embarrassed, and January has no shame when it comes to nudity.
-
While I was editing this one, I realized that January claimed the heck out of Elias. He came at least 3 times, but probably not more than 10 times.

If we do manage to finish this story and still have many chapters on reserve, I vow to do double updates. But, until then, slow and steady she (he? this one's primarily full of male characters) goes. There are lulls where we sit down and hash out major plot points and where to steer the ship (the story's a ship now? If so, I Christen it 'Enero' [January in Spanish]). Went off on a tangent there, what were we talking about? Right! Mari's not generally violent, but she is as protective as a werewolf gets, considering she's also an Omega. I think what was running through her mind at the time was more "if I distract the vampire, El can make a run for it!" We get to see her mate later on, too.
-
And we can't wait for your reactions to the characters that have yet to come!
-
On the bright side, we're trying hard TO finish it. This is the first story we're going to try to plow ahead until the end without deviating. Fourteen chapters so far.
-
Yes, indeed. He does owe her a new set of clothes! As for the elder vampire and the alpha mentioned, no one knows if they are still alive or not.
-
Most definitely not! January always turns the heat up somehow (he has a mind of his own, that one). Yes, Mari is something else.
-
I hope you had a few laughs and enjoyed them!
-
I can try to help somehow from the shadows! Though I'd more than likely be fangirling too hard to be much of help, now that I think about it...
-
It will eventually be updated, we just want to do it right.
-
No worries!
-
Correct! It was on one of his butt cheeks. It happened so fast, Felix didn't even know what was happening. And I just realized there is a Lucian with an A in CtM and it's pronounced the same, but he eventually goes by "Luke." Hopefully that won't cause too much confusion. He's a minor character, in any case.

The story's speckled with humor, so even if you did laugh at serious parts (though some were still meant to be humorous, like when Jack was attacked by that plant), at least you enjoyed the tale thus far! Thanks so much for reading.
