Jasper's one of my favorite names, too.

There are drawings of them in the HindertoyBL gallery as well.

    Chapter 30

Actually, for these guys, the colors and species were all easy to remember because we introduced them one at a time. By the time we got to writing about the freckled-butt Mycha, we already KNEW that Nix had red-striped black hair and a yellow-green eye (the other sightless), etc. etc. We did create a chart for the babies, though, because Robin said that Nix's species had this whole "three genes from multiple parents" thing and we had to find out who inherited what genes and where. It was like a whole project figuring out the babies. That's where, if you look at the HindertoyBl album, you'll see all my color charts. Considering that we went on mostly word descriptions for all the babies at the start, I think I did pretty well in translating it to color and sketches. I feel quite proud that they ended up a nice little rainbow of skin tones.

    Chapter 29

Yes, I'm sure he does have nicknames for all of them. I'll have to get with Robin on that for the sequels. Thanks for reminding me!

We were just discussing this, ironically enough. Zane has a BIG collection of movies and he has everything from action comedy to kid's shows to old classics to horror films. The conversation went something like this (which is while working on chapter 8 ): Robin: Lol, three different movie quotes in there. I knew I'd be able to get some Gone with the Wind in there somewhere. Zane had quite the movie collection. Thirdly: Great job! He'd totally have all three in there, they're classics! He also has a lot of action comedy like Beverly Hills Cop, Police Acadamy, Blue Streak, Rush Hour, Bad Boys.... Robin: Ooooo. Thirdly: Let's just say he has a very big movie collection with even some kid's flicks and horror in there. Thirdly: Speaking of movies, my niece has apparently come across the Marvel superhero that has the most of my personality...Ant Man. And after watching The Ant Man and the Wasp, I have to agree.

    He'll certainly try!

Now that would have certainly been chaotic. Zane would have had quite the time smuggling him back out! Instead of "Free Willy" it'd have been "Free the Sepida!"
  8. I meant those that read the end already, ha ha. You're fine, take your time, friend. I also wanted an excuse to say 'a crew of randy kemonomimi fight to survive...and kittens.' @Rambling Robin giggled hard.
  9. I mean, I'd review it myself, but it'd be a bit of a paradox . @Rambling Robin also updated our summary, which is loads better than what I would have come up with. "A crew of randy kemonomimi fight to survive...and kittens!" (my summaries are so awful lmao)
  10. I just realized no one's reviewed KIAO overall yet. Anyone wanna give it a shot?

So late on this, but since I'm re-reading while we're writing, I might as well reply to any comments we missed! Zane has a good head on his shoulders, though it might be his genes.

    Chapter 28

They'd end up fading in and out or doing that weird lower-half-darkened censorship like in Junjou Romantica.

Yes, the poor thing just couldn't catch a break!

    Lessonz!

Here, I'll send you some of the energy from our guttery brains since our smut capacity tends to overflow so hard! *seals a container full of naughtiness and slaps a stamp on it to mail it over*
  20. Alright, after reading this story straight through for 10 hours, I'm ready for my review! The writing style is as smooth as butter. If there were any typos or mistakes at all, I didn't catch them. The flow of the story is steady as a beating drum. It's heartfelt and engaging. You build a bond with the characters almost immediately and become delighted as they mature with the passage of time. Not a single loose end left by the finale. Quite satisfying from beginning to end!

    Chapter 28

Hilariously enough, except the massive amounts of smut, this story could very well be crazy enough to translate to anime.

    Chapter 25

Oh yes, Phenner's a great character. Starts off physically weak, ends up quite strong.

    A New Horizon

Yes, about 10 hours including breaks for food and a Floridian storm knocking out power, leaving me panicked about the final two chapters around midnight for a good 10 minutes or so. I'm just a very determined Floridian that had to go in to work the next day.

    A New Horizon

That was great! Perfect even! It was a lovely read from start to finish. I'm glad I was curious enough to peek at it. There were no lose ends, we even got to see Mason think things through and reconnect with his bestie. I liked all the characters. Thanks for sharing!

    Key to My Heart

Battery died on my laptop, so I moved to a handheld electronic for my comments. I'm glad that Mason and Logan reconnected. I connected with the character Blaine instantly since I can also play the flute. Cody's B-Day gifts were all quite thoughtful.
