Yes...yes, they can fly, but not right away. A bit later, when the wings are strong enough to bear the weight. They definitely will be exhausted the first few months, in any case, just like all new parents.

Yes, yes indeed.

I was invited to this site by @Rambling Robin a few years ago. I didn't even know that such a forum existed and the rich diversity of authors it contained. Though we are not on the same page for everything in life (as few people are, regardless), both Robin and I realized that we wrote as therapy and as a means to entertain ourselves and to take breaks between our hectic work, university, and home lives. I am grateful that though we butted heads on many occasions, especially in our early beginnings, Robin never cast aside our friendship and we were able to compromise until the point we've reached today. We are now inseparable sisters-in-arms and I look forward to not only our own future collaborations, but also her other collaborations (Maddam Redder also writes amazing work) and her own personal works (Prophylaxis, Catching Tavo, Saving Ezra, Feeling Lucky, and all the ones that she's been itching to write but hasn't had the time to yet). I am also grateful to each and every author/member on this site...those that have steered us in the right directions in regards to the website and postings, those that have enjoyed our silly collaborations and my own silly tales, those that post regularly in the different forums (including games!), and last but certainly not least, those that have shared their own amazing stories and written work. I know that I haven't even begun to scratch the surface of all the amazing stories that are on this site. But, I am eager to read more (especially when my life settles back down to one job, that will be amazing)! I'm not going to name any names, because it would quite literally take up this entire blog post. But, I refer to every person I've ever interacted with. I sincerely thank everyone for the warm welcoming, the patience, and thoughts...which are as richly diverse as we all are. 💜 - Thirdly

They're so tiny and itty bitty and precious.

[3:17:39 AM] Thirdly: should we end it there? [3:17:50 AM] Robin: I think that's a good spot! eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee [3:17:56 AM] Thirdly: and then we start the epilogue [3:18:04 AM] Robin: eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee ...3:18 AM, apparently, and that doesn't include editing and posting. I think we were both just deliriously happy with the prospect of sleep by then, hahahaha.

We're glad you enjoyed it. We know it's been a long time coming.

@Rambling Robin and I stayed up til like 3AM wrapping up chapter 29. I swear, it really DID feel like Nix was giving birth in real time.

There are so many things I enjoyed about this story. I wanted to jot them all down as I was reading, but I have only one hand to type with (my dominant shoulder has a labral tear and is in a sling right now). So, off the top of my head, I will try my best to remember everything I enjoyed. Let's see... At the very beginning of the tale, when we had Colton's black wolf perspective about obsessing over his mate from a distance...it was both fun and a great hint for us before we even realized that he was THE Colton, the one guy that Parker was all but salivating over since the year prior. I loved that. In fact, all the little tidbits of their feral perspectives when in wolf form were fun to read! The fact that Parker actually went along with everything before ever even KNOWING about Colt being his wolf visitor was great to read, as well. For example, whenever Colt asked him to show him his belly. Parker's just so laidback/easygoing, it was great. On another note about Parker, I loved how his being turned caused an overall change in him...physically and perhaps even mentally. I mean, now that I think about it, would the Parker we knew at the beginning of the tale have the guts to pack up and leave his parents' place? But, that could also be attributed to his overall growth as a person...all the things he saw and had to face (i.e. lycans in general). The point is that the Parker at the end of the tale is a more confident, stronger, and courageous Parker than the one at the beginning and I love reading about that kind of growth in characters. Colton himself also changed a bit, he became more vulnerable in certain moments when alone with his mate, and if that's not trust then I don't know what trust is. I loved those scenes, as well. Very much. One of the things I liked the most about the story was when Colton's pack mates/friends began to just welcome Parker into their fold before Colton ever even MATED with him. I mean, yes, Colton probably asked them all to watch Parker's back when he couldn't, but they didn't have to befriend him and joke around with him! That was all them; they wanted to include him and get to know him with zero judgment. I loved it. The effects of Wolfsbane and silver-sulfadiazine injections successfully creeped me out. Ethan's regression was described so well that we could all envision it clearly. That was great writing there, as well, in the sense of it drawing a reaction from the reader. All of the action scenes and the love scenes were amazing, as well. And, of course, I loved Shell and that she ended up with Curtis in the end and in their fold, that was the icing on the cake for me. It was a great read! Thanks so much for sharing.

Shell sounds really cool, a worthy bestie. Since I live in Florida, whenever I think about full body suits like mascot suits, I think of the poor petite young women running about in the Disney character suits at Disney World. Florida heat + full body suit= overheat. And ironically enough, one of the characters got heat stroke in the story, as well (Adam). I sure hope Parker hydrates well.

🤣 Agreed!

Yes, rest assured that Farshael will always speak his mind and try to curb Viktor's impulses...keyword "TRY."

Our research for this was interesting, to say the least...We both became quite distracted when reading about Ra and some of his lovers. A lot of giggling came out of it.

I'm sure Takashi would charm both of them to heck, easing the acceptance of Mick's little harem. I wonder if Mick's ever gonna tell them about his situation (crazy queen after my species) and his roots (apparently I shimmer with beaty)? And, yes, as I said...totally unique insult lmao.
-
I love that his mom calls him conejito (little bunny). I also love how they're pretty ok with Mick attracting so many men. As usual, I can't wait for more. I love love LOVE Prophy. LMAO! Also, Happy Birthday and "go fuck your mother and then have that tooth extracted because it has a large cavity" sounds like a creative and hilarious insult in just about any language, English included.

Pfft! Zeru wants to be part of anything with those guys. I'm hoping Riley warms up to him, too...even if it takes a very, very long time. Don't fey live long lives? I loved his adoptive family too. They're awesome.

Many, many thanks. After four years, I think Robin and I have reached a good understanding of our shared likes and dislikes in our stories. We’re going to try to wrap up some of our other stories, but I’m also eager to see what the next idea will be ( I think it’s her turn for the next whimsy...she sparked kidnap, I sparked lust, she sparked cuddlefish, and I suggested this one...yep, the next venture will be her thoughts).

Yes, those were great moments! Quin was befuddled throughout most of the story. It was fun to see him dive headfirst into the soulmate situation and it was wonderful to see Nolan take action like that.
-
We're glad you enjoyed reading it.
-
We will see them again later on. We're glad you enjoyed it.
-
Many thanks for reading and for your thoughts!
-
We're glad you've enjoyed reading about them! We'll see them again.
-
Yes, considering where he was at the start of the story, it's great to see Elias being free and having all the fun he was denied up until he got the stone. We're glad you enjoyed the tale. We'll see this group again in the future.
-
You just started reading the story just in time. We're uploading the final chapter as I type, so I hope you find it as entertaining as we have! It's their first arc, so we will see them all again, in which we will remember what you said here about enjoying when werewolves shift for future ventures.

I extend a virtual hug to you and to any other readers that have ever felt like Sifta has.
