  1. We are going to try to keep rolling until we finish this one.
  2. Well, we're currently working on chapter 12, so I think it's safe to say that there is much more to come.
  3. We do and we don't, some of the boys go, others stay behind. They might all get to see her in the future, though. And yes, Eli can be very feisty.

January's 500 or so years old, he's definitely disposed to sex with all kinds of species. Though this story centers around the wolves, vamps, and humans around this particular town, there are other species that we haven't mentioned yet in other areas of their particular world. And once again you are teaching me new things...let's see...found it!

I would say that the average vampire wouldn't have affected them all that much. January, however, is something else. We're glad you've been enjoying the story so far.

I love that everyone has favorites! Later on, when we see them all, I want to see what the favorite combinations are.

We may or may not find out what happened with Quin- aww, fuck it. The whole thing with Quin will be explained, I promise. Give the poor guy a break, ha ha ha. Also, yes. Jany...the poor thing had to wait for so long. But, we have to believe that he'll have them all for the long haul.

More than 15, for sure. We're working on chapter 10 at the moment and it feels as if we're barely getting started. So, 30 chapters or more does feel about right. Possible spin-offs...who knows? Jeez, it's so funny that you mention that. I feel that, yes, they all bond with one another fairly equally...it's not all about Eli. They hang out and get along with alternating mates on any given day. For example, Elias will cling to January whenever he feels like breaking free because Jany would let him do whatever he wants...even if it's dangerously climbing an enormous 1,000 year old tree and falling from it multiple times (Jany'd catch him). Mat will dote on Pax whenever he can. Other combinations happen as well, but we haven't gotten to them yet. Pax is precious. Some of the other mates are more 'distrating/attention-grabbing/wild' but, Pax is their home. Heck, they literally even live in his house. They all have great qualities.

Eli, Pax, Mat, Jany, Mate 5, Mate 6. Yep, 6 altogether. Secret balance.

Elias and Pax together, they're the core. Eli's the magnet drawing them in, Pax is glue that holds them together...I'm terrible at analogies.

Yes, whoever is plotting this has more than one positive motive! For January alone to have been tossed in the mix means this plan was cooked up centuries ago. Jany's technically ground zero. And yes, shit has yet to hit the fan, but it will.

Elias thinks he doesn't have a color, they make 6 altogether.

Yes, I get a kick out of drunk Eli, too (we've @Rambling Robin to thank for that) . Oh, there's nothing wrong with Omegas finding humans as mates, it's fairly common. Both weres and vamps adore humans. Vampires are willing to share their humans, but the werewolves are not. Khonsu has them paranoid that the vamps will turn the humans (which they only ever do with consent, or else Anubis would come down on them, it's about their only rule to respect humans). I went off on a tangent. The point is that Omegas can have humans for mates and we will see more examples of that later on. If we talk about healing and peacemaking, Elias and Pax have that literally covered. Inner peace and the need for healing, however... And, yes, Eli will apparently bite them so hard they will cry. I love those lines.

*whispers* He's already our favorite, too. Don't let the other characters know.

Nicely theorized. Now, let's hide you away before they find us out.
  18. I'm more of a fantasy writer (for the fun and flexibility of it), so it always surprises me when others enjoy my non-fantasy stories and collaborations. I admit that I have completely forgotten about the progress I was making with this particular tale (a lot is written for it, it's just not properly organized and segmented into chapters). When I next get a chance, I will definitely try to work more on this one.

    The Agreement

Ah, but that would mean that he would have to actually concede to that order. What if Rathburn ends up in the dining hall and they have to play pretend? Not that he would go that route (specifically the 'face in inner thighs'), but the point is that he would have to somehow abide by that promise (even if he argued the 'I can in other rooms?' bit). Hazeth'd be "honor bound" not to ever from then forward come near Winter's inner thighs, and if they end up being official, it would come back to bite him in the butt later.

    The Agreement

I think he does stick to Win, because there is no other mention of him calling Winter 'Winnie' after this, he really was just joking. And it was Winter who brought it up in public "I liked you fine until you started nuzzling my...my unmentionable places!" Hazeth was just trying to defend himself (albeit not in the most tactful way, tsk tsk).

Yes, unfortunately, January's introduction also heralds the chaos to come.

When it comes to hotness, I do believe there is a scene or two with a higher temperature later on. Stephen King, huh? January's definitely winter fire itself, ha ha ha.

This is only the beginning. January's grown on us something fierce, ha ha. I didn't expect for Robin to come to adore him so hard. I knew she'd get a kick out of him, I just didn't realize just how fun he would turn out to be. We were just talking about how Elias and his boys would have been loads more hesitant to come anywhere near a vampire had they not had a few drinks first. Also, I can neither confirm nor deny the possibility of coming across Quinlan in the future.
  24. Oh, yes. I would do my best to make it as funny as possible, even through his hardships, ha ha. Thank you for reading.
  25. Let's see, so far, it's 4 for 'yes,' 3 'neutral,' and 1 'no.' It might very well happen.
