  1. Prompt 470 (posted by CIA) An organized but self-conscious assistant, Seth, finds his life upended by the retirement of his boss and the persistent flirtation of his charming co-worker/rival, Liam. As a series of awkward and humorous encounters draws them closer, Seth must confront old wounds and learn to trust again. M/M, COMPLETE
  2. “So, not only are you in love for the first time, but you also have to work up the courage to ask Eric out. No wonder you are scared!” “I’m not scared!” - LMAO! I just love reading about best friends and/or siblings in stories. No one else can get away with teasing the heck outta ya than a sibling or bestie.
  3. *flips work desk* I need to stop reading things at work, get too sucked into them and want to keep reading more.
  4. Will you be OK with occasionally tearing your hair out, shouting ‘NoNoNo’ at the main character, and swearing at the author ? - OMG, yes! Ha ha ha! That's so me yelling at the screen. The worst villain I’ve met on GA. - Oh-ho-ho...you haven't read MaddamRedder's work I see. She writes quite a few villains that'll frustrate you through and through. But, I know who you're talking about in Prophy and I wish him ill, too. I agree that it is an excellent read, you're sucked in from the very first 'mission/assignment' and you end up eating it all up in one sitting and regretting it when you've finally caught up to the current chapter. Then you have to beg and plead for Robin to write more despite her super busy life and very limited free time.
  5. Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo...we're back where we started! Granted, with loads more information and more insight about the two and more precious and funny moments...but, I still wanna read more!!! *pouts*
  6. Noooooooo I wanted to read more. I hope the second story I saw is a continuation or spin off of this one! They're so cute, I was overwhelmed with the urge to want to be THEIR subconscious voices and urge them BOTH to get together, ha ha ha.

But her question also indicated the plant wasn’t a company let’s-brighten-up-the-workplace deal, which I’d almost managed to convince myself. - Ha ha ha! NOPE. Better stop telling yourself that. my main reason for moving to Seattle stems from problems relating to a failed workplace romance. I have no intentions of repeating my mistake - Uh-oh. That doesn't sound good. After five o’clock, Solomon would lie on the floor in front of the chair or on the seat. One minute before I entered the door, he jumped up and perched on the seat. - So precious. Sol would spend his evenings and nights with whichever kids needed him the most. How he worked that out, I never knew. - Cats are just intuitive like that. I gained the trust of several teens, gay and straight, enough to hear a terrible amount of heart-breaking stories. - That's both the best and worst parts about volunteering for your community's kids. The kids get some things of their chest, but you personally end up praying hard for them and hoping that you encouraged them enough to keep moving forward. “You can forget about that, at least until I’m back in shape.” Shit, I was truly desperate if I started talking to my cock. But I guess we both wanted to fuck something other than my hand. - LMAO! I checked the short-term memory of them both, and found cat footage as you’d told me. There was a great close-up of Solomon sitting in his chair, I saved that and used it later for the carving. - That makes loads more sense. Way to go, Ken. His lips were as soft as I’d imagined and being kissed by him was my favorite gift so far. - Woo! Get 'im, Colin~ That was very, very cute, and quite clever! Well thought out. I loved it.

I would love to read more about those two. And more about the different angel departments. as well. This was amazing.

    Part 1

:: The Second Move :: Kender was so relieved once everything had been unloaded into the house. All that was left to do was the arduous task of unpacking. At least the furniture had been placed where he wanted it, for the most part. His little Renael had been roaming around exploring the new house and he was so afraid something would somehow squish the little boy. The kit in question had pulled out his favorite blanket from his box and was running around with it. Ken caught hi

    Foxies

A group of young fox men's lives get tangled across two worlds—one modern, one magical—where friendships and unexpected connections change everything. As they deal with family drama, magical surprises, and their own identities, they discover what it really means to belong. With plenty of heart, fantasy twists, and real-life moments, it’s all about finding love, yourself, and a place to call home. [BL, slow burn?, warm and fuzzy feelings so hard that you might get cavities, kemonomimi (animal ears and tails).]
  11. Thank you so much for all of your insight. I felt that Kane's intense reactions to him wouldn't make any sense without a peek into the past (albeit that long one, but Nick was also the catalyst for his asthma attack, so I felt cornered on that particular segment [Would you believe me if I said it was condensed from a much longer version?]). I try not to spill out too much information at once. If I'm not mistaken, there aren't any more flashbacks for a good while from the next chapter onward. I didn't realize I shuffled too many of the flashbacks in succession in these first chapters, though. Feedback is very important to me. I can't figure out what works and what doesn't without it. You have my deepest gratitude. If you happen to stick around for the rest of this one, I'd love to hear your opinions throughout!
  12. After Gyro had finished his breakfast and spent some time with his family, he excused himself to hunt down his Godbrother. As he walked up the stairs, he was pleased to note that the stiffness in his recovering leg was diminishing more and more. He needed to be in decent shape in order to keep up with Kane on his cases, so it was a great relief that he was well on his way to getting there. Being a hindrance to his partner felt like quite the punishment to him. When the twenty-five year old ente
  13. Darifer was hanging from the ceiling again. The collar around his neck had three chains that led to piercings on his chest and a particular ring that his master had fastened to the base of his second head. Each of his wings had two sets of piercings running down their length, with black ribbons running down through the loops in an intricate manner. A clawed hand scratched the underside of the lavender astral dragon's tail and trailed along the soft scales with the sole purpose of stimulating
  14. The Sentains bowed their heads slightly and wished Solare Sindri a good night. The desert dragon was then subjected to hugs, handshakes, well wishes, and a kiss on the cheek from Ansar. The Gallants left in pairs as orderly as they had entered, all except Kelius who mourned the loss of free time. Visionary Ansar couldn't even think about celebrating his free time, as he would have rather spent it by Kelius's side instead of only three rabbits. As the couples bid each other a good night and d
  15. Kane awoke with a slight start. He took a deep breath as slowly and quietly as he could while he waited for his heartbeat to slow back down. The latest nightmare was a repeat of the scene at the bar when his Godbrother had been stabbed by Takiwa. He kept still as his eyes rolled to the side so that he could peer at his partner. When he saw the slow and steady rising of Gyro's chest, his own body finally relaxed. If Kane was honest with himself, he was quite selfish. He had a vicious desire for
  16. The Gallants (and Visionary) made quite the picture as they sat in pairs for lunch that day. For the first time since they arrived at Middlemost, there was no trace of awkwardness as they ate. Sindri's final decision had lifted the weight off all their shoulders. Solare Vitara was treated to the sight of this pleasant lunch amongst companions as she sought out the Gallant of the desert, or was he perhaps a Gallant no longer? "Have you already made your decision, Representative Sindri?" S
  17. Since he had planned for Gallant Sindri to have lunch with him on their picnic, Gonuret had let the others know in advance that they were to eat without them. By the time the two of them had returned, the other Gallants and Ansar were finished just about finished with their food. Solare Vitara was seated amongst them. They all stood up when they caught sight of Sindri. "You are all free to do as you wish," Solare Vitara told the Gallants in a dismissing manner. "That includes you as well, Vi
  18. "What is this horrendously familiar-looking thing," Ansar said dryly when Ruthed shoved the coppery rabbit into his face. "Why, it's your new pet. The one that Sindri and I so lovingly picked out for you," Ruthed replied easily, a hint of mischief in his eyes. "We should skin it and toss it in a stew," Ansar suggested coldly, but at Sindri's disapproving glare he sighed and took the rabbit into his arms, a blush forming across his nose and cheeks. "I was easy prey today 'cause I was all
  19. The next morning, Sindri was up like clockwork. He stretched and got ready to meet everyone for breakfast. He hoped that breakfast wasn't as quiet and awkward an affair as dinner was the night before. He finished up his morning routine and changed before heading for the door to leave his room. But, as soon as he turned the doorknob, he felt someone from the other side turning it at the same time. When he finally got the door open, he saw Ansar waiting for him. "Oh, hey. How long were you waiting
  20. This one's not that far in. There are so many ways that the next chapter can go, that it's slowing down any new uploads of it a bit. Once I deliberate with Toma which way sounds the best, the rest is easy.
  21. Gretel and her husband, Gerald, stepped through the all-too-familiar entrance of the house that had once belonged to her mother. She reluctantly took off her sunglasses, revealing her red, watery brown eyes. She let her husband hang up her coat and hat on a rack, her soft blond curls falling over her shoulders. "My, how you've grown," She commented as she regarded Michelle with a strained smile. "It felt like only yesterday that you were a tiny thing and playing around in this very house with th
  22. Glad you're enjoying it thus far. I will try my best not to give everyone 'flashback whiplash,' ha ha!
  23. I'm glad you enjoy reading about them so far!
  24. Ha ha! I can't play favorites, I love them all. But, I absolutely agree that Emyve has class.
  25. The following morning saw all of the astral dragons seated around a long, rectangular table. Ansar, naturally, sat next to Sindri. On Sindri's right was Ilohir, who had taken the initiative of starting their 'date' off as soon as possible. Madhal sat across from the apricot dragon, and the others were seated near their assigned room companions. The jade dragon began the day by asking Sindri the questions instead of the other way around. "So, your people are supplied with water through wells?
