Luckily my precious Sho was safely by my side, trying on the cute kitty collar I got him for Christmas. I think Takuya is in some kind of purgatory on the set of the Japanese version of Cherry Magic.

Well Thai BLs play it slightly different... If anyone is ever remotely touched by rainwater, no matter how insignificant, they immediately have a debilitating fever the next day, which requires the standard "wipe them down with a wet cloth" scene that Drew and I frequently reference.

There's definitely that element in many Japanese BLs. Especially any school BLs that are based on mangas. They do have the more mature variety, My Personal Weatherman, My Beautiful Man (though early parts of the first season might feel like it), Our Dining Table (this is one of my favorites of 2023,, in some ways it might be more up your alley Pagey).

Hey, if I was living it up, retired in Chiang Mai, with a cute Thai guy on my arm, it would be a different story. I had a very stressful week at work, followed by that weird sleep study, and I just wanted to stay home and do nothing for a day.

You should definitely do that. Clo tells me though, nobody in France wears berets anymore! I was all set for a French vacation, a bottle of wine, a baguette, a bunch of fancy cheeses I can't pronounce the names of... all while wearing a stylish beret. She said no!

Actually did a sleep study last night, so I went to bed at the center a little earlier than usual. I actually managed to stay in the bed the entire study, so that was something. It ended at like 5am, so I've been awake ever since I left the center.
