So, I was actually just discussing this with someone the other day, and I’m curious. How seriously is Christmas celebrated over there? Is it a formal holiday, like people taking work off etc. Or is it just kind of a joining the fun, putting decorations up, maybe exchanging a gift with someone, having a date night, whatever?

Christmas in Thailand reminds me a bit of Christmas in Arizona when I lived there. Beautiful weather and Christmas lights on saguaro cacti.
