I personally wish I’d kept in better contact with Carlos the last couple of years. I used to look forward to every Friday when he’d post his CJ stories. Half the enjoyment was interacting in the comments section, and I’d always have a big smile on my face early in the day. It does really make me sad I’ll never get to banter with him or tease him here ever again.

It had been a while since I last interacted with Carlos, as I hadn’t followed his newer material as religiously as the heyday of his CJ series. But I will always treasure our conversations we had over his stories, blog posts, forums, or our occasional PMs. He was so open to talk to, so funny, and he loved getting feedback on his stories. Positive or negative, he’d always thank people for feedback and encourage them to keep reading. There was even a point I remember him asking for advice on a topic he wanted to include in CJ’s story, that he didn’t have much knowledge of, but knew I did. His presence will certainly be missed here. RIP buddy.
