I do too, but the premise doesn’t make any sense, me watching BL series with you doesn’t cost you anything. The mess you’re in is not being able to use BL boys against me. If you hadn’t invited me to watch Never Let Me Go, you still wouldn’t be able to use BL actors against me, if I wasn’t a fan of theirs. Hence I’d still be teasing and rebelling either way.

I can say I think it might have actually been Comsie's personal site that brought me here. It's crazy to think though, I probably should've been here many years before I actually was. I wasn't an avid reader of Comicality's writing, but I read a few of his stories on the Nifty archive back in the day, in my very early 20s, and I was aware of his brand of writing throughout the 2000s. Definitely before the original GA was formed. I've been reading gay stories online since the early days of the world wide web, and I remember multiple sites I used to visit on like Geocites, etc. I probably should have been part of that early community. As a side note, it's funny to hear younger people talk about the "early internet" and they'll reference something like Youtube, and I'm like kids that was over 10 years after the world wide web launched.

I was brought here from a different website, but I spent about a week lurking, and I very specifically joined to add comments. That was about all I did my first year on the site, and of course not everyone appreciated my comments equally. It was around the time I was reading A to Z, and something else, that I got way more involved in commenting, and eventually met Tim, who pulled me into the community, and eventually led me to here. Or what the equivalent of this board was in 2016. Along with regularly commenting on Gary's writing. I think he was posting Treading Water at this time, and I had a comment for every chapter. As much as I vocally love Morningstar for obvious reasons, Treading Water will always hold a special place in my heart for this reason.

Hmm I'm actually not sure, I'd say at least 4 times. Someone was reading through it this last week and liking some of my comments from 2016, so I ended up rereading those chapters again, and I'll probably reread the whole thing again soon.

That does make me wonder, how many are mine? Probably not as many as it should be.
