  1. Hi all! Tantalus is a currently-ongoing story of mine with 14 Chapters up so far and more than a hundred reviews by awesome readers who seem to be finding it interesting! It is a science fiction story with M/M romantic elements and some nice and furry alien creatures with telepathy thrown in for good measure. I would like to open this topic in case anybody has any questions regarding the story, and to post a few little-known facts that followers of Tantalus might find enjoyable. Its destructive capability was unparalleled, and there was no pilot inside the transparent canopy that housed the robot's high-definition visual sensors. Its exterior was a burnished shade of dull gray, a titanium-derived alloy that was n

Thanks! I decided against padding the chapter unnecessarily with extra stuff, although it did come out a bit short. There's more in store, though, that much I can promise!

Chapter 13. Friends The first thing I noticed was that I could breathe. I opened my eyes, remembering everything instantly. I had been trapped in a nightmare water-filled tube. I hadn't been able to move, or speak. And my body… I sat up as if jolted by a live wire, heart hammering in my chest. I caught fleeting glimpses of a Furball-covered floor, of tall walls around me and of Jim lying nearby, naked like I was, but I blocked everything out. Gingerly, trembling, I brought my hands up to

Thanks! I cannot even begin to imagine what such an experience would be like, but weird dreams are things that sometimes stick with you, even once you're awake.

Thank you! I must confess I admire Alexandre Dumas and his episodic storytelling - this is modeled somewhat along those lines!
