I imagine it is hard to oversee a entity if you are living in a different country. These trustees have other obligations so they cab't be traveling a lot to oversee an operation. But that isn't an excuse, they can use since 'spot checking' which usually turns up enough to warrant a closer examination. Poor job trustee

Lunch was great, it was an American dinner. I encouraged the kids to go back for seconds, and I noticed the staff did as well. I don’t think these kids act any different than any child who is away from home at a boarding school. I noticed the boy who I ate with was at the Knights table, when he saw me looking at him he smiled. Ralph came over and asked me if I liked the cookies. He handed me a sheet of paper and it was the recipe. I smiled and hugged him. I noticed his roommate smiling as well.

Incredible. Since heat rises I would have thought that enlarged piping would have worked. Probably someone thought this was a clever solution.

Less work for Arlene to inspect, I guess. I don't think there are any extra rooms in a prison and that seems the way Arlene ran the school

I will answer one of your interests. The woman at the restaurant was from the same c country as Ralph, that is why he spoke here in his language. He probably heard her when she spoke to her husband who was the cook.
