The attitude of these guests was appalling. I think they were ashamed of their places which is probably more like the orphanage the city sponsored next to Yale. Run down, cramped, and a small operating budget. They tried to find fault but they did have one hope, the food would be like the food they served. I would loved to have seen their faces when they saw the dinner the children ate.

In the morning I had to tell Colin to be careful he didn’t step on the kids. Following him to the kitchen, “I think we need to organize those sleeping bags so that we can at least have a path to the dining room and kitchen.” Coffee made, orange juice in the pitchers, eggs on the counter, crepe mix finish. A little humor in your comment. Pierre is becoming more comfortable but there is a side that hurts. He wants to enjoy the relationship the boys have with Dad and Pop. I'm sure Arnauid, with Michael, and GG are working on something. Pierre seems to be a sensitive boy. I commented earlier I believe when Christian didn't want to be Pierre's guardian, Arnaud sent him to Armand.

The boys were concerned about their friend coming. Mom didn't care, she was looking out for her son, and that was the most important.

Please don't mention that to Colin. He will have a butcher make them the size of a hotdog. Colin doesn't say much, he's the man who is behind the ideas. I noticed he provides whatever the boys like and would jump off a bridge if Armand asked him. Totally devoted partner.

Saturday morning there was a lot of excitement. Pepe brought the boys from the Home. He had two empty seats, and a few of the boys got out for a pit stop. Now I’ll have to explain that bit to Pierre. Thinking about Pierre, where was he? I checked the bedrooms, the first floor when I heard "Dad". Going back outside, the boys he met at the Home had him on Pepe’s bus. The excitement of being home and meeting Pierre momentarily overshadowed our Italian brothers arriving on Monday. Momentarily, before they told Colin they had to take Pierre fishing before the Italians arrived. I knew that wasn’t true but the idea of a Saturday fishing trip was appealing to me.
