In January, school resume, and our routine returned to normal. Normal as possible with a wedding facing me and Amo learning English. Yes, I knew. Life is to short and when you get older, you find it hard to be, upset, angry or mad. Why waste the time doing those things. I'm glad people are reading my stories and willing to comment.

I suspect it will be a little while before a baby arrives, unless Tony's Mom gets involved. I feel sorry for the first grandchild. He/she will be spoiled , no question.

The next two days, I spent the time getting to know Amalia’s family. I didn't answer a part of your question, If Uncle Angelo and his boys accept them, then the others will fall in line. The boys have spent July 4th at Uncle Angelo's and have been welcomed. I see no problem there

No, his father had a sister who died. His mother died early and his father remarried and also eventually died. Illnesses in those early days, did not have the medicines we have today,. antibiotics etc. They had a miracle drug, aspirin. He was orphaned when he was 21

Farm life continued to follow the previous summers with one exception. We now had a visitor from Italy that required some attention. The boys worked extra hard to be sure I had time to play, that is what they called it. If there was any issue with a woman living with us, that went out the window.
