Yes, they will need to sort out some form of heat for the barn. I don't think that wood stove will work.

I'll see what is left in the office, what I can't use I'll send it to you. I know about milking cows and goats. Never had a chance to observe milking sheep although I know it is done. Lucinius mentioned it in his scrolls

Not sure about 100 percent self sustaining but the grocery bill will be less. Tony may need all that food with the boys appetites

Yes she failed, but she is a cousin and Tony has known her for his whole life. So he knew what kind of person she was. Tony is the kind of person who has what I call an open heart. I don't think he could ever be seriously mad at anyone. I think there is a little jealousy on Marlene's part.

Brad and Tom will bring to Tony's home an enrichment and enjoyment that comes from seeing something develop to the original state. The house is solid and will not change, but the updating of the apartment will bring the boys on to the property. With them there, one can see the development of a working farm. Animals, horses now which will be followed by chickens and who knows what else. Tony has a gold mine in those boys.

Generally Universities provide a desk with chair, two chairs for visitors and a filing cabinet. They, being the property of the University, Never leave and over time, they become worn. They are functional and that is all that can be said. If the previous owners took care of them, the furniture would be in decent shape. Otherwise, the furniture shows it's age. Not being owned by the occupants, they were not well taken care of. A university that has been operating for a long time, the furniture could have been the original. And I suspect that when an office becomes vacant, other professors take what is better than they have and leave a replacement.

You have a sad tale, I could never understand how someone could turn against their own child. My brother got into a lot of trouble, my parents never turned him away, they loved him as much as they did the rest of us. My heat goes out to you. I hope you have found happiness and contentment.

After the boys left, I decided to clear out Nonna and Pa’s clothes. Pa’s clothes had nothing in the pockets, but Nona had a pin on one of her coats. I wonder how Marlene missed that. I read for about an hour, and then I turned in for the night. The next morning after breakfast, I called the University. For the boys, it will be great. They have more room, cheaper rent I am sure, a built in tutor, and farming which they like.
