  18. “Mom, I don’t understand how I inherited Nonna and Pa’s house. I thought Uncle Angelo would have inherited this property.” In Pa’s will, there was a stipulation that the house couldn’t be sold. Your uncles and aunt have their own homes and wanted to sell this house. You’re lucky, and when it passed to me, as the youngest, there was a clause that if I was the last, I was free to do whatever I wanted with this house. So I’ve decided to give it to you. Prologue

There was a time when Kings and Queens ruled many European countries. Italy was no different. And as Kings have done, they have had their dalliances. The King of Italy had a son by one of the Queen’s servants. It was a hush-hush event among the Royal House occupants. When the child was six years old, it was apparent who his father was. He had the eyes and hair the color of the King. When confronted, the King admitted that he had fathered the child. The Queen set aside rooms for the mother

    Chapter 36

I just have one question, is that your hand in the cookie jar. I wish I had more on this story, I enjoyed writing it but to be truthful, I enjoyed the investigate work I did to try and be as authentic as possible with the time of the story. I wasn't a history major in school but I have always been fascinated by reading historic events of the past.

    Chapter 36

Thanks Kev, I appreciate your comments. If history proves itself, the villa would stay under Aumen's guidance probably with Junius taking over. Duccius would retire to the villa in the south where his father had retired and he would inherit that Villa. As long as Duccius was alive he would spend time at both Villas. Junius would inherit the house in Rome, Lucinius's Villa would be self managed under the guidance of Junius who would end up with both Villas if he lived that long.

    Chapter 36

I couldn't help it, part of the fifth scroll was destroyed and there wasn't enough unless I wanted to guess. And I'm not a history major so ... the story had to end. Be assured Lucinius and the boys continued their success and Junius became a frequent visitor.
