Those people generally are losers, looking for something they can boast about wishing for attention and a pat on the back. I'll pat them but a lot lower on the back and with a cat-o-nine tails. They are not followers of Jesus, more like the other guy.

It was a cold and snowy night when I left school after basketball practice. I jogged home, trying to keep warm. I enjoyed practice tonight; maybe it was because I knew this would be my last time playing basketball for my school. I’ve applied to several colleges, particularly those close to home. Thanks, I'm sure you know people who make you feel very comfortable. Chet's parents and the hugs at the dinner said a lot about the people in that town.

There are people that exudes love, Chet's parents are one of those. Tony felt home and he wished his parents were like Chet's. This was a short story, I wanted to show that there are families that accept gays, and show them the love they should have had from their own parents.
