Sleep came quickly. I was tired, and sleeping on the plane didn’t cut it for me. I must have been asleep for several hours when I felt someone crawl in bed with me. This wasn’t the first time one of the boys would have a bad dream and crawl in bed with me. I must have felt like a safe haven for them. By the time morning came, I had all of the boys in bed with me. “Good morning, Dad.” “Good morning Steven, why the party?” “Chris came into my room, crying. He must have had a bad dream.

Yes, Chris hasn't had the best food nor had he had enough. He probably was dependent on other men providning him with food.

It takes a brave lad to make the decision Chris has made. Although, to go back on the street, would mean he would probably have had to go back to the man who had control of him.

A group of boys rushed us as we left the airport. Chris’s eyes grew wide as the boys circled him. They started to shake his hand, all talking at once. Maria had done her job. I knew she’d have all of the boys organize a welcome for Chris. I loaded our luggage in the boot of the limo. The boys climbed in; I choose to sit upfront with the driver. We had to roll up the window. The noise from the back was loud. The drive home was a little over an hour. As soon as we pulled in front of the house,
