    Chapter 1

Traveling one gets to see not only beautiful works of art, but you get to see all types of people. Depending on the country, you can see what is legal in one country and illegal in another country. In all of my travels, I learned that people would do anything to live or maximize their income, even at others’ expense. My name is Carleton Jeffries, and by profession, I’m an international lawyer. Upon completing my law degree, I selected to stay an additional two years to study international la

    Prologue

When I retired, I wanted a house that was in the country. I found a place that was being sold at a tax auction. According to the perspective, the owner of the house had died and left no heirs. I drove to the location to check out the property. It was a large house on quite a bit of land. Taxes amounted to several thousand dollars, which, fortunately, being a bachelor all of my life, I could pay this tax lien and still have a comfortable income from my portfolio. On a whim, I went to the coun

    Chapter 7

Yes, Pesi came through. Sometimes you have to be sneaky to make sure that the 'right' wins.

    Chapter 7

Yes, I have left the story open, like many of my stories. Your comments are appreciated. I have a problem in that my muse doesn't take me further on my stories, they seem to be designed around a central thought or person and then when life returns to normal, the muse pats me on the back and says "see ya" All I know is that the boys became very intelligent men, thanks to Pesi and still live with Doc. Doc has retired and the boys take over. They now are thinking about an intelligent airplane.

    Chapter 7

As we entered the courthouse, we were met by Abe, “Doctor Frankenstein, I have a small room we can meet before we go and see the judge. This must be the two boys who’ll be adopted?” I introduced the boys to Abe; they smiled. We followed Abe to a small room just outside of the courtroom. “This should go pretty fast. The judge will want to talk to each of you boys separately in his chambers. He wants to be sure you want to be adopted and not being forced into adoption. Do you have any question

    Chapter 6

There are a lot of people in this world who feel that they, and only they, know right from wrong. We use to call them devil worshippers, that was the polite term we used.

    Chapter 6

The next day the boys were busy rearranging their bedroom. With Dad's help, they put the large king size mattress in the garage loft. Now it was a matter of waiting for the delivery of the single beds and the extra dresser. A home visit would show the room divided into two by using the furniture. You can bet the boys would be sleeping in only one bed. Two days later, the twin beds were delivered. Doc had Pesi direct the boys so that the room looked like two when it was one in actuality. The

    Chapter 3

You are obviously interested in long stories with a psychological analysis. This is a short story highlighting PESI and the potential of this technology. I wrote this short story when a friend had developed a system to turn on his lights from his car when he was approaching his home. I took it one step further. Driverless cars are a reality, where that technology ends, is anyone's guess. I am not a psychologist, except I did take a course in abnormal psychology when I was in college. My aim was two fold, one to introduce the concept of PESI and two to show how beliefs affect the lives of the innocent. Thanks for reading and commenting.

    Chapter 5

Imagine what we would need if this was a possibility. We would need a home install gym, for one. Life would be boring,. to some extent. But the concept is intriguing, no?
