Time does not move in a direct line for me. There are deviations that take me down one road then something blocks me and I find another road. Life is like that , at least my life. Richies house is still empty and his bank account is doing well. Wonder what is in the brief case which hasn't been opened.

I probably wore a tie three times before graduation. I wore a tie to work until I was assigned off shore. Then only when the top people made a visit. Really liked that.

Something happened when Marie was here. Richie was a fancy dresser and now he wore a tie to school. At first, he was the only one, then Tommy started to wear a tie. vous êtes les bienvenus. It has been almost 17 years since I studied French in high school. Between Richard and Tante Maria, the boys will have a secret languages to use at school. They now have Italian comfortably, need some work still on Spanish. The best way to learn any language is to live in a country that forces you to learn. Except German or Dutch, to guttural for me.

You are right and sometimes just riding with someone can be scary. There was a time when buses and streetcars (Trams) where cheaper and convenient. I haven't seen a bus where I live for years. Streetcars have been replaced with fast moving. trains, commuter trains . The need for a car has decreased but the demand for people wanting to go now and heaven help us if they had to wait 15 minutes for mass transits. James wasn't at fault and I'll bet he won't just look and go, he will sit for a few minutes, before going.

The reinforced jeep is to satisfy both James and Armand. James will be ever cautious from now on and Armand will not worry about another accident. I'm getting to like Colin 😉 Colin and the club guard will help the young man. But he will have to pay the price for drinking.and driving.

I thought about what Colin said that night. My sleep wasn’t normal, for me. I tossed and turned until Colin wrapped me in his arms. I fell asleep but it wasn’t my normal deep sleep. GG didn’t visit and I felt alone. I have never felt that way and I couldn’t understand why. I felt Colin’s arms around me. I awoke in the morning when Colin shook me offering me a cup of coffee. He sat on the edge of the bed. “Armand, what is wrong? You tossed and turned all night, mumbling something.”

Yes, I think he will always be there for anyone Armand wishes to help. Ivan will become a grandfather to the boys and Colin and Armand will become Dad and Pop for Ivan.
