Mark, Thank you.
Thank you for the wonderful and amazing adventure you have taken us on with George. Since the first chapter as a young boy entering a new world away from home I have been enthralled by this story. I know it has been a daunting prospect to keep it up. (Yes, I realize the pun...not intended but a happy accident.) So if you decide to endevour to continue I will joyfully follow and if not I will cherish the fun we all had.
Thanks again, Nevius
Thanks Mark, much appreciation for us not to be left hanging too long! The maps and images are a great supplement to the description of the battle. Now I just can't wait to see what you have in store for Granger as he continues his circumnavigation. ;-)
Thanks Mark! Yes, I certainly appreciated the quick chapter release. At the close of 29 I was itching to press a button to go to 30, so I was quite surprised yesterday to see it pop up.
Nice surprises in it too! Can't wait for more!
Yes, I'm missing my Granger fix too! Especially when a few Paternity chapters keep popping up in a row. Makes me feel neglected! Mark, I know you won't forget us but the Bridgemont series is one of my all time favorites so it's hard not to miss my weekly peak into the past!
Thanks, Nevius
Mark,
I love this whole series and it's all been building to this moment in time and now it seems as you've decided to leave us wanting a little bit longer than normal! My fingers are getting tired of hanging onto this cliff! LOL!
What's up?
Thanks Mark. You always keep it interesting. This has been a tough trip on George, leaving home when he really didn't want to this time and now losing John. Can't wait to see where he's off to next...and does he want revenge against the spanish ship????
Thanks Mark! The entire Bridgemont series is a favorite of mine and hope you continue. I think Sir George has many adventures to go and I would like to be included on the ride!
Mark, I never said the resolution had to be done quickly....I'm enjoying this storyline too much to have in end quickly!!!!! Don't kill a good story!!!! LOL! But they all don't have to be sea battles either!
Nevius
I'll start off saying that I like Calvert and how his character has contributed to the story. That said, what needs to happen is the resolution of Granger and his feelings/ relationships with Caroline, Travers and Calvert and their long term affect on his life and career. Does Granger allow these interrealationships to destroy his life or does he through his continued growth and maturation find common ground and enlightenment?
I think killing off Calvert (or any of the characters) is the easy way out of telliing a complex story line. (Athough sometimes it is the best option ;-) ) I think the next phase of the Granger series is where this story truly all comes together and it's good to have all of your characters to play their parts!
Thanks Mark, I've really enjoyed this story...i've been enjoying my time at sea!

Dom! It is so great to have you back! I was getting depressed today and just wanted to blacken my mood a bit more by looking to see if you had updated your stories... because I checked at least once a week for...how long....well it doesn't matter now, I'm in a good mood!!!!
Hope all is well..and your dad gets well too!
Thanks.
Dom,
I just had to comment that you wrote this on Father's Day....that's just a bit ironic. And I'm sorry that he thinks it's fine to put you in a situation like that. You're doing the right thing by distancing yourself.
Thanks for keeping up with ITFB, I'm really enjoying it.
Nevius
I wandered into Dom's page one day about a year or so ago. Now I've finally become a member and feeling my way around. It looks like a good place to hang out.
