i met Michael when we both volunteered at a soup kitchen. He annoyed me no end. Then when i found out He was a cop, i told him to get lost. He didn't. Eventually i agreed to coffee, then a baseball game. There have been a lot of changes and ups and downs. But i still cant wait to get home each night to see Him. We've been married nearly 10 years.

that is so sad ... not what You're doing Sir but the fact you have to .. the fact they are homeless. it's horrible and i never want to be back there.

thinking about this .. i know i often think the worst in the heat of the moment. but i have also less often thought about why is that person acting that way, but it certainly isn't usually the first thing i think. this good Sir .. and i think it is something worth working on thanks again Sir

Great review, spikey! I read this story when it was first posted. I'm not a huge scifi fan as i'm not interested so much in tech/things but i am interested in the people and how they react to their worlds and each other. So, this was an interesting story for me. I enjoyed it.
