I stumbled upon this story from a link that Carlos Hazday included in a post on the CJ Series Discussion forum, and I am so glad that I did. I binged read the entire story in one sitting. You brought Rick and Gus alive for me. Seeing Rick come into his own as a gay man, ignoring the little voice in his head. I look forward to reading more of your work

Reading about their experiences on both dives brings back many happy memories of my own dives in the waters of the Dominican Republic.... not quite as visually breathtaking (for the most part) as what you described, but that feeling of peace is universal. Another excellent chapter, allowing us to get to know Camilo better, and as someone else mentioned, fleshing out Owen's character even more. As much as i wait patiently for the next chapter, i know it brings us one step closer to the end 9of THIS book anyway).

I was glad to see Seth show up again. I didn't really think you would introduce him like that and just drop him. I don't think anyone in their right mind would mess with his three older brothers, though it might be nice for Cassy to make a reappearance just to have the three of them tear her to figurative shreds!!! Thank you for explaining why it took Ethan so long to heal Thad. I was wondering the same as everyoine else. Can't wait to see where you take us next.

I hope you realize that you have now induced me to add Cuba to my bucket list of places to visit! I like where you are taking us with Camilo. He seems to be an interesting man, based on the little you've had him share of his life. I am definitely looking forward to reading the rest of this novella!

I think I re-read this (and the rest of your work) at least once a year. Each time I read it, I find some other little detail that I missed in prior readings. I too would very much like to see Brandon, Austin, and Dainen (love the name), featured in another story, or at least make appearances again. I kinda want to know what happened with Thorin, but perhaps that is best left to one's own imagination. I still get a little chill down the spine and a bit of a "squeee" moment when I get to the part where you talk about the stripper.

I'm glad Randy is cool with the wolf side of things. Another excellent chapter, Wolf. Looking forward to next week

WOW. -this was a great surprise to come from work to! I don't think Camilo is a match for CJ, and definitely not one for CJ and Owen together. I love the tour of Havana that you are giving us. Can't wait to read the next chapter!

CJ is definitely a force to be reckoned with, whether dealing with an inane Politician or an overzealous mother-in-law. I think they way he handled the final situation with Pam was perfect. he never once lost his cool. All in all, this was another wonderful edition to the CJverse, albeit a short one, written with your usual care and level of detail. It was good to see Phil, Reiley and the Obamas again. Can't wait to see where you take us next.

Glad to see Seth getting the care he needs, as well as the support group. Rick puts me in mind of another wolf (the Alpha's son, whatever his name was... Michael?) I hope Thad is okay. Can't wait to see where you take us next week!
-
oh that effin bitch! Glad Trevor was able to contain his wolf, especially with all the vitriol she was spewing. I agree with mikedup about her treatment, but i would add being drawn and quartered to the punishment. I know Seth will be ok with both Randy and Trevor on his side. Can't wait to see where you take us next!

Another great chapter in the constantly evolving and unfolding of CJ's personality, and Owen's as well. I ALMOST feel sorry for Pam, for the inevitable, not to say much deserved, bitchslap we all know CJ will give her. Looking forward to the next two chapters.

If there is a better way to start 2023 than with a new story in the CJverse, I don't know what it could possibly be! CJ handled Mr Fanning's assholishness perfectly. I hope, for Molly's sake, that the asshat is okay. I'm sure his remarks are gonna land him in a heap of trouble on all sides. Can't wait to see what happens next. (Good thing i only have 3 days to wait!)

The Attorney - Part II
Bre Czaroux commented on Carlos Hazday's story chapter in The Attorney - Part II
well, i SUPPOSE we can let you have a bit of a break over Christmas, New and Blue huh... definitely sounds intriguing... can't wait. As for this chapter, exceptional, as always. Looking forward to next week's installment, even if it IS the final chapter. -
OMG... what a doozy of a cliffhanger. We know neither CJ, Liebe or Linc are dead, but... WHO GOT SHOT! (This is almost as bad (ie GOOD) as "who shot J.R.?"). Another excellent chapter, Carlos. now, as someone else has said... "HIT THE BUTTON!!!" lol

Definitely didn't see this coming. Soooo looking forward to what happens next. WILL the Russians cause problems? i think that is Northman's purpose in life, as he does it so well.
-
Nothing like a nice relaxing holiday with the extended family. Not wanting to get on CJ's bad side, I will say that Liebe is absolutely adorable! Well, maybe the gay men SHE knew don't act that way, but thank god we aren't all created using the same boring cookie cutter. The LGBTQ+ community is as diverse as... humans in general, and all I can say to that is THANK GOD! Another beautifully written chapter, Carlos.

another awesome chapter. I can't wait for Nordstrom to pull the walls of the hole he's diggin in on himself.

Yet another exceptional chapter, Carlos. It was good to see Cesar and Brett again, even if only briefly. I love that you describe the scenery/locations that they visit, enabling those of us how haven't (YET) gone to Mexico. As for Northman, the man is a snake. I have the feeling that CJ standing up for himself to the ass is going to come back to try and bite him in the ass. I caught that little snippet of Austin and Calum, and have to say yesssss! I see trouble coming from Northman regarding the Oscars, after all, CJ is nothing but a social climber (in Northman's eyes anyway), using his position to further his own agenda. Waiting with bated breath to see what happens next
-
I wasn't at all surprised when Northman scheduled CJ's review for a Friday morning. It felt like a typical butthole move on Northman's part. Nor was I surprised at Ambassador Cox's reaction to it. Of COURSE Cesar made sure Infanta attended the reception: she has become as much a part of the family as any other regular character. All in all, another excellent chapter... just enough to keep us all hooked, and waiting til next week for the next chapter. lol
-
Another great chapter. I almost felt sorry for Jurgen when he piped up about the guys taking Liebe to rugby matches. Definitely not a good fit with this crew!
-
another eminently enjoyable chapter... but this line "“You forget Jack’s fictional. We aren’t. It’s not like we’re somebody’s characters in a novel.”" amde iot all so totally worthwhile
-
Why do I get the feeling that Northman is going to become a major problem? (little fish who think's he's a big fish in a small pond). Love seeing Ozzie get to play.
-
Why do i get the feeling that Northman is in for a much deserved ass whuppin, physical OR verbal! another excellent chapter, even if it was short! Can't wait for next friday!

My paternal grandfather was from Scotland. He was a poet, and frequently wrote with the Scots accent, so i had no trouble at all understanding this one, and new they weren't spelling mistakes

I've been wondering what happened in Mexico, so can't wait to read all about it. 35 chapters will make for a nice long read. Hope it's up soon.- 3,873 replies
