I'm not sure he would actually rape Kelly, I think it's more of a threat to the guy.
-
As you said Alex is the driving force of the story, but things will change in the next few chapters. hopefully you'll like the way things go.
-
Thansks for reviewing, we're getting closer to all out war with the aliens. The next few chapters will define things.
-
Alex won't be out in the field for much longer unless necessary so hopefully you'll enjoy the next chapter. I was trying to go for the Red Dawn vibe, with guerilla warfare. But you'll see the alien's response over the enxt few chapters.
-
Hopefully you'll be a little happier with the next chapter as it answers some of your problems and dislikes.

Dawn’s early light found our group pulling into Ravenscroft farm. On the boundary of the farm, Larry was settled on one of the dirt bikes. He led us in, directing two of the trucks into a huge barn. The third was hidden under a tarp once everyone was out, and the last vehicle, ours, was hidden under an awning in case anything came overhead. Larry directed all the children we had rescued into the second barn that had been converted into a dorm. I left the team to get them settled as Larry took me

“Hello, Alex, you said you wanted to speak to me,” Larry’s voice broke me from my reverie. Realising I had been sat at my desk, staring at the folder for the last ten minutes, I shook myself off. “Take a load off,” I told him, gesturing towards the chairs in front of the TV. As he settled in, I closed the door, which automatically sealed the room, “Do you want anything? Coke, Lemonade, water?” “I’ll take a water,” he grinned as I reached under my desk for the mini-fridge pulling out

Thanks for commenting, as we've seen the last month with the Coronavirus people will do stupid things. We have wanna-be stars licking toilet seats and other things to get views, who then get the Coronavirus. We have thugs coughing and spitting at people especially police officers. Thank you for the concern, I'm no back on form. So hopefully will have a bit more of a regular posting schedule.

You have to remember they are still teens and they were probably knackered from the late night, so unfortunately forgot to check the cameras. It was a mistake, but it didn't show much. Thank you for commenting, I don't think the blood trail is going to lead the aliens to Fort Walker, but we'll see further down the line. It may well have been a suicide, there is a few people on base that could achieve a result like that, however we may see in the next chapter.

Eli led me back out of the garden we were in onto the street; no one had noticed the guard yet, but there seemed to be a lot of noise coming from the direction of the bonfires. I would love to have saved the three on the crosses, but I don’t think we could have made it up to the main drag without notice. “What was your plan to get out? I noticed the fences are blocked off, and we don’t want to go out into the main town.” “If you look behind the townhouses, there’s a small path leadin

Another good chapter, but I don't want Skyler to die. You're writing a great story so far.
-
Brilliant start, oh i hope you havn't killed off skyler. I thought Caleb and Skyler were going to get together. Keep up the good work!

Alex is still a fifteen-year-old boy and has doubts, I'm not sure they've got to murder yet though watch out for chapter twenty as Alex has to do something he really doesn't want to do. He's certainly changing and evolving, but I think Alex is still trying to keep to societies rules.
-
Alex dithered, he really didn't want to search their rooms to keep the sanctity of their guest status.

“Are you ready?” Noah asked, entering the armoury. I clipped the tactical vest on, checking my sidearm was clean before sliding it into the holster on my thigh. I looked at him speculatively. “Nearly ready,” I replied, picking up the sniper rifle, “Have you changed your mind?” “I told you, I’m not letting you go on your own with Tobi,” Noah replied with a fond look. We had argued in circles, but finally, I had relented he could come, so now I glanced at him. He was wearing similar cl

May melted into June as the weather got warmer. We had now been in the Mountain just under four weeks with the new group, though I had yet to allow anyone to go out. The recon teams had been training well, but some were chomping at the bit to get out, namely Bastion. All the rest of the groups were settling in nicely with no complaints so far. The heads of the departments met each week to review everything and see how people were getting on. After studying some paperwork, I rubbed my eyes and de

Thank you for commenting, it's certainly getting interesting. Will this affect how he deals with Kelvedon Hatch? Hope to have the new chapter out soon.

“Proximity alert,” Daisy’s smooth voice announced, jerking me from my reverie. I looked up at the large screen to see Daisy zooming in on the convoy approaching. “Alex, I see the convoy a few miles out,” Luca’s voice came over the radio. He was currently in the Tower on the watch. “Thanks, I have them on screen,” I replied, studying the vehicles. I saw three large vehicles with two Foxhound light patrol vehicles at the convoy’s front and rear. “Fort Walker to the Kelvedon Hatch con

“Welcome to Fort Walker, new friends. Hopefully, you can be safe and happy here. Hopefully, you’ll contribute, and all our lives will be made easier,” so sue me, I’m not exactly the best person at giving speeches. I looked around at the room and the newcomers, who all looked fresher than when we met raising my glass of Coca Cola. Everyone shouted ‘hear, hear’ as we sat down to eat the delicious meal Simon had provided. Once we were halfway through, I sat back looking around my table; Mac, Matty

Hammering echoed across the space as Noah and I breathed hard from the fight. I wiped the sweat from my eyes and saw the kid that had opened the door. He was similar in age to Noah and me with black hair and doe brown eyes. He was pretty cute, if not a little dirty. Next to him was a girl, also similar in age to us in dungarees and a fierce look on her face. She also had a crowbar in her hand. “I’m Alex, and you’ve already met Noah,” I introduced myself. “I’m Adam,” the boy replied

Condensation had built up along the bottom of the giant windows, and I could see ice flowering on the grass despite it being early May. The sun was beginning to burn off the ice, but it would be a cold morning out there. I looked at my watch; one hundred and eighty-two days had passed since we had been locked in the mountain. There was still so much to be done as the new members from Kelvedon Hatch arrived in two days, so once the doors opened, we were going to retrieve food. “Any activity

Thanks for the comments, Mac, Tobi and Alex's friendship will survive.
-
I thought I had commented on your points. Kelly will be of some use later on, I'm sure. But don't worry, she will get her just desserts one day. As for Alex, Tobi and Mac they will soon be involved in a lot of heavy action and will need their friendship.

“Mac, Tom, Larry, I need you to come up the stairs please,” I cried out desperately, not sure what to do. I didn’t want to move him in case he had hurt his back. I heard footsteps on the stairs, and the three ran up. I stared at his body, he’s going to die, and there’s nothing I can do about it. I watched dazedly as Mac put her emotions aside and began to check over the boy. “Tom, I need you to go down to Level three, in the supply closet there is a board, go get it now,” “Is he go

Thank you both so much for the comments, poor Nathan. Hopefully, he'll make it, but do we know who the saboteur is yet. Be prepared in the next chapter as it reveals a lot and answers, hopefully, several questions.
