    Chitto: Part One

No, I like comments and I make tons of mistakes. Please contribute. Droughtquake steered me to the Creid. Butcher steered me to the mines in Book Two of Blueblood and lead me to the Cockney Accents in Book Five. So far, I see 84 readers and a couple of "Likes." Droughtquake is a great asset to me. Comment!
  2. Chitto Part one “What is it with these people?” Seth balked holding his hands out in exasperation. “First Len Na and now this Tawa!?” He waved at Adistan. “Tell me that wasn't a Child of Lilith!” He challenged me. I shook my head. “It's not.” I looked again at Adistan and asked him. “Is this...” I stopped, “the Charging Bear speaking? The other name will take practice for me to say.” “I am.” He said sort of echoing. “Really!?” I asked. “But you are also Tawa?” “I sp

    The Listener

Read the bath scene again from the beginning. Demetrius said who it wasn't and who it was.

    The Listener

Does he? Wonder, wonder. Is he Tawa? Remember what Demetrius said. And he doesn't lie .
  5. The Listener “Well, it's always good to see you.” I said to Demetrius. “Somehow you always manage to come when needed. How do you do that?” Demetrius almost blushed. “Well, I'm very attached to all of you. I love you, so I'm always listening in.” Seth grinned. “So the whole thing about not coming here anymore is no longer valid?” Demetrius bowed his head and shook his head. “That's complicated.” He shrugged again looking at with his head still lowered, but his eyes ra
  6. Battle Aftermath There was a wagon found nearby and behind the invading forces. Assuming they could find the gold and get to it, how else were they taking it away? There were about nine hundred bodies alive and dead among the enemy. The survivors that were still lucid were gathered up and taken to an abandoned farm and barn nearby. The guards posted to watch them were almost all Creid and less soft hearted than others would be. It was unclear how many attacked because of those

    Unwelcome Guests

Exhaustion. I write from sunup until way after sunset. I know it's an obsession now and it sort of always was. I use my dictation program to get the story on the computer, but I manually check it for spelling. Checking it to has improved my errors. Yesterday when I checked the grammar and spelling, I thought it wasn't working. There weren't as many red marks as usual. That and computer errors. Wifi slowdowns. I posted that chapter three times because I'd get almost done and I'd have an error because my Wifi lost the signal. That was Xfinity's fault. But I persevere!! I will write. Thanks.

    Unwelcome Guests

Sorry, I passed out after posting Unwelcome Guests. You'll find clues about how many in the next chapter. Remember, most of these in the Brute Squads had no training other than what they got in the real world. Their plan was to go in and get what they want. They had almost no resistance in the other towns and villages. Many were not soldiers but thugs. Answers will come.
  10. Unwelcome Guests Seth and I were enjoying our time in our bath in the peace and solitude it offered. We had moved way beyond needing words now to communicate. Our comfortable familiarity was what we both wanted and we were getting better and better at it. He rested back against my chest my head against his as I gently washed his hairy chest. It was very dirty. I was a little startled when Seth spoke. Not because he was loud since it was little more than a whisper. “Don't misunde
  11. The Creids After dinner and before we retired for the day, we gathered in the large living area with our guests and talked. We sat on the two couches in front of the fireplace. I watched these men from Creid interact with each other. Beau was looking around the house at the various paintings and sculptures we had. The sculptures were displayed all around on tables, shelves and on the large polished mantel. There was a large painting over the mantel done by a very famous artist five h

  13. Building Our Defense The Modern World Hits Royal Valley “People!” Seth shouted as people all started talking and asking questions. “I know this a scary thing. I'm scared, too. Information will be passed on.” “Some of our people will come to you to do that,” I said. “If these whoever they are, see we're ready for them, maybe they'll change their minds. But we've become important to them for some reason. We need to be prepared.” We turned to our mayor who still de

    It Begins

Good idea!!!! .The natives might use sign language but not what Toby, Dara, and everybody do in Blethos! And Toby can read lips!!! You're Creiding me again.
  15. It begins “Are we that important as a target?” I asked no one in particular. Sam chuckled. “I should say you are. This town is richer than most. Even some three or five the size of Royal Valley. That makes you a very lucrative target.” “These people are after gold,” Yannick said. “I don't know why the native tribes are with them. They live one with nature. They don't live for possessions. Maybe they're making a statement.” We walked down to the first floor. “We've

I had problems at first the fonts were posting with different sizes. Haywire? Like how? No one else has said that. What are you seeing?

    Love and War

You are reading ahead again. Technology evolved differently since the European Migration was different because it was much earlier. The had telescopes on ships and troops used it on watch. The natives weren't called indians because someone didn't sail the ocean blue declaring he was in West Indies! When he wasn't!
  18. Our Anniversary and Preparations for the coming War "How do we prepare?” I asked them. “It could come at any time.” Yannick nodded. “An attack on you, Erik, will require more preparation and a plan. They would have people in Royal Valley to know your patterns. They would also see the numbers of men you have guarding you.” “Which will be increased,” Sam stated. “I can spare a few Creid.” Yannick smiled. “I'll even send four off of our palace warriors for you and Seth to t
  19. “This is incredible, but I have a meeting! In half an hour.” Christian heading to the door. ”Happy Birthday. I love you.” He pointed at our boys. “You two need to tell me how you did this.” Hugs and a walk up the stairs they returned to A'Dore. Yannick was arriving tomorrow with Delta, their children and their guards. I made the Royal Valley's four...that's right, four hotels! Keith was right about our prosperous town. We did a lot! The wine was our best export. It had been asked for.
  20. I hugged Dennis again, “How did you two do this?” Dennis shrugged. “He can make sounds. I coached him to make controlled sounds. He's still deaf. I worked with him to know the A in "take" and the A in "tap" are pronounced differently.” “I got tired of meeting people who can't sign,” Toby said, He said! “This way they can understand me better.” His words were pronounced carefully. There was a tone he had. Dennis had taught him to stop enunciating between the words. Guttural stops a
  21. I got my two goblets of milk. I've always loved milk! I heard people got upset stomachs when they drank it. Not my stomach! I loved the taste and it coats. I heard those at the University in A'Dore were working out on a way to keep it fresh longer. They have my support! I drank the milk and had a couple of goblets of juice from the icebox. We live in a vineyard. We would not run out. Once I didn't have that horrible taste I needed to check on Seth. For me. I now had empathy, not just sympat

  24. CINDERFELLA 3: Life Continues Twelve years! In the next few days...six when we celebrate our anniversary. Twelve years ago, Christian and I came to Blethos, and I chose from King Alexander’s family and made a choice. Marry them to make them Queen. What I wanted was to find a good man. We would be married legally. I heard about kingdoms in the past doing that for the alliance. Yes, yes, you know that. I’m just reminding you. I met Seth. He was kind from the first seconds of meeting. At
